Ehhhhh. Gifted to mother in law who is unable to hold heavy equipment. This is more of a toy than a tool. Even with the saw blade the unit lacks power to get anything measurable done. Its a balance of either having something heavier with more power for a very short period of time versus this tool and spending 10x the amount of time to get the job done.

Able to do A Lot on one full charge Great quality for price

This is ok. The instructions are lacking so I deferred to the pictures and information on line. I live on the water and have to clean the area by my dock and thought this would work well. It did a good job but found this to be very short. I’m 5″4′ and had to hunch while using. I used the saw blade and it worked best when horizontal to the material you are cutting. It was light and from that perspective easy to hold and maneuver.

There are no clear instructions on putting it together. However I like how light weight it is

Funny enough – I have 3 weed eaters. Also funny is that I hate lawn work. I guess I have some kind of gadget death wish or something. Anyway, in spite of having three other trimmers, this handy battery-powered multifunctional weed trimmer has a place. But I wouldn’t go so far to say that it’s any better (or worse, to be fair) than my other trimmers. I’ve found that it works well for light-duty tasks around the yard, like tidying up newly seeded areas or managing small weeds. The various attachments, including metal blades and a saw blade, add versatility, though I think these are edge cases for what you’ll likely be using it for. In fact, I think if you’re using some of the heavier-duty implements/attachments, you’re probably doing more than just casual lawn work – and you’re probably going to be buying something more ‘professional’.
I also notice that the unit itself is heavier than I’d like to make this a go-to, which makes it less ideal for quick, spontaneous yard work. However, it does well for specific uses where a lighter touch and precision are needed. The battery life is decent, and the ease of not dealing with a gas engine is a plus. It’s a good tool, but probably not a replacement for more robust yard equipment.

This little guy is more than fairly priced and works amazingly.

The battery life sucked! There was absolutely no torque.. my hand hurts after using it. The handle piece slides and doesnβt stay in place

So I got this thing thinking it was a weed wacker, and would be a nice alternative for quick work around the yard when I didn’t want to get my gas trimmer out. Wasn’t expecting much in terms of performance or run time, but the convenience of a battery tool would have be nice. The description of the product might be a little “off”, but it’s still a cool tool.
So first off, anything that’s called a “trimmer” I’m assuming you can use to edge up to objects, most likely with a string. This has plastic attachments that I’m guessing are more “gentle” for edging, but I haven’t tried them and they seem like they would be a headache to use since you’d have to very regularly replace them.
One you put the metal blades on, it really becomes challenging to edge anything, as the metal would destroy any delicate objects you’re trimming against. The saw blade in my opinion is rather useless, but it’s a cool addition?
The metal bar blade was my favorite blade – it seems to be the most useful and it’s really all I’ve used extensively. The motor in this thing is vastly underpowered for a brush cutting scenario, you have to constantly wait for it to spin back up to speed, then push it in to cut whatever you’re working on.
What I really love this for, is newly seeded areas. The tool is super light, and has wheels. This thing IMO is a really light duty/small area lawnmower. When you seed a new area adjacent to existing grass, that edge that you don’t mow tends to grow up and look unsightly, this thing is perfect for that 8-12 inches between your mowing path and the new seed. It has enough power to get through the grass pretty well, but not enough to blow the seed around or uncover things.
If you have your arsenal of lawn tools pretty built out this is a cool addition, but you’ll get a lot more use out of a regular string trimmer than you will with this thing.
