The clarity and tone of the mic is very impressive. I have been using a Shure Beta 58 for a long time but this is so much better.

Clarity is amazing. Always used a Beta 58A. This is truly an upgrade with a bit more punch!

I just used my new Shure Nexadyne mic for the first time as a replacement for my trusty Sm58. I love the new mic; primarily because it tames the proximity effect most dynamic mics are known for. This is so valuable for live vocals, when moving in to sing (boosting the volume)at the bottom of my singing range, the vocal does not become boomy/bassy as it does on the 58. This is just what I need. Thanks Shure.

I was using a Shure Beta 87A and and SM86 for my solo acoustic gigs. Both were great but, being condenser mics, they always felt like they were on the verge of feedback. After watching a few reviews, I decided to go with the new Nexadyne 8/C. I used it at the gig last night and was sold! The clarity is very close to the condensers but the feedback rejection is rock solid! Also, I noticed that the sibilance I would sometimes get with the other mics was gone. It’s not quite as sensitive as a condenser but, it’s about 90% there. I don’t think I would want it to be anyway because that’s when the feedback comes on. Overall, I can’t recommend this mic highly enough!

I like this new mic from Shure. I am a full time musician and gig 6 days a week. On my acoustic shows i usually use a Neumann KMS 105 which is a $700 microphone. On one gig I swapped out the Nuemann t for this Shure nexadyne 8s and the nexadyne held its own.
Great sounding microphone. I like how I can sing right up in the grill close to the diaphragm and it doesnโt get too muddy like my older shure beta 58. Now this mic is bright which is not a problem for me, but some may prefer the 8c model. I used it on a band gig and it has better rejection than the beta 58 I usually use on those loud gigs.

The first thing I noticed when using this mic is that the gain setting needed on my mixer was much lower than what I get from my SM57 and SM58 mics. The Nexadyne is simply more sensitive – this is a good thing.
The overall tone is excellent, with good transient response and very, very smooth sound. Iโve found it to be an excellent mic both for singing and speech! The cardoid pattern allows for rather high volume with minimal feedback. This mic is an excellent mid-range microphone, a fine upgrade from my industry standard mics. It arrived with a cable, mic stand clip and a standard Shure carry bag. Iโm very pleased with this purchase!

Okay, it’s for real. I was skeptical it would beat out my Beta 58A, and it smoked it. The clarity is unreal. The mic has a noticeable volume bump compared to the Beta58A, and it should be better with more clarity because it’s over $100 more. The Beta58A does sound different compared to the Nexadyne, but I attribute that to Revonic dual transducers and overall design. I prefer the Nexadyne overall. I got no feedback all night and was noticeably louder, clearer, and more present than the other vocalist.
