I was nervous about buying stools online, but thought, “What the heck, if I don’t like them I can just return them”.
So far I love them!!! We have 42in. countertops and they are the perfect fit! They are really comfortable and look sharp!
They do require you to assemble, but the assembly truly isn’t that difficult! I will say though, it’s a lot easier with power tools rather than the allen wrench they send you.
Assembly of all 4 took my husband about an hour.

Great value and very beautiful. Add some scotch guard to protect. A bit week on the rail, broke one while putting it together it was able to glue it. Don’t stand in the rails.

These have been a good buy so far. Really happy. Construction is typical asian cheap furniture. The finish is nice on the wood, and the fabric is attached well and is soft to the touch and is cushioned comfortably. It bolts together with Allen bolts and wood screws. It is plenty sturdy when fully assembled.

We bought four total barstools. They needed complete assembly and we spent literally hours trying to assemble three of them and to get them as close to level as we could. Even then, there was significant wobble to each of the three chairs that could only be fixed with numerous felt pads stuck under the wobbly legs. Then came the fun part. We were halfway through the last chair assembly when we found that there was a manufacturing defect and one of the legs did not fit at all into the chair. We called Amazon customer service to see if they could send us out a replacement chair. The call was sent to an offshore customer service center where we were told they could not and that we would have to buy a box with our own money to return the partially assembled chairs back to Amazon! What?! The customer service rep was unbelievably rude and indifferent as well. I wish we had never used Amazon to purchase these and had gone directly to the Ashley store where we could have had them assemble them and returns would have been simpler. This was not the Amazon experience we were used to and it was a lesson to us to be very, very wary of buying any large furniture items from Amazon. Never again. As for the quality of the Ashley furniture itself, all I can say is although the chairs looked beautiful, assembly was very challenging and the chairs were not level and wobbled on three legs with one leg on each chair no where near the floor.

Ordered a set for a coffee bar we are adding. They arrived quickly and packaging was secure. Really like the chairs, the style and the color. There was an odor when the package was opened, but it cleared in a few hours. Just accepted it as part of the assembly process–glue, fabric and wood. First chair went together perfectly. Chair number 2 had incorrect cross pieces with it Contacted Ashley and they sent replacement parts, but they were still incorrect. My son was able to make them work by doing a little creative carpentry, but he is a craftsman. I would not have been able to complete assembly on my own. Rating would have been 4 or 5 stars for the chairs without the hassle of incorrect parts.
