Bought these for my husband for his birthday as we were going on a road trip. We were very surprised with the outstanding quality of these binoculars!! The caps are a soft rubber material; the bottom (bigger ones) are attached to the binoculars so you don’t have to worry about losing them. Comes with a great durable strap, lovely carrying case. Love them!!

Really good. Could see clearly far away without my glasses! I use it mainly for plane spotting. At 300 yards
you can see the landing gear pretty close. Especially if it’s a 747!

Purchased 2 pairs of quality brand name binoculars, had to return both due to eye misalignment issues. Won’t mention which brand as I don’t wanna thrash their name. Purchased these instead and at a great surprise these have proper left/right eye alignment and crystal clear view, couldn’t ask for anything more than that lol (at much lower price too).
Also noticed that I could use these and observe something for prolonged time without eye fatigue or strain.
I really like the way they made the protective caps attached to the binoculars so that you don’t lose the caps unless you cut the attachment cords.
However, beware of the weakly built quality of these binoculars, if you drop them these will most possibly break, so if you’re clumsy go get more rigid ones at double or triple the cost.
Will sure keep these as I finally found binoculars that don’t break the bank yet work better than expensive brand names. Totally recommend.

Skygenius 10×50 – I liked these a lot as soon as i took them out of the box. I like the look, the feel, and the quality is good for the price, but compared to more expensive these are low performers. I made some comments on cloudynights.com about them also. I am rating 5 stars for the quality you get for the money. These are not Pentax, Nikon or Vortex BUT they will do the job. You will still get a closer view of nature or the stars. I got these just to see if i like 10×50 and practice handholding / freehand viewing. For this price these were fantastic to determine – do i like freehand? Is 10x too shaky for me or for freehand would 8x or 7x be better? For astronomy how does the moon or Orion or Andromeda look in a 10×50? How much can I see? Would i prefer more magnification and mounted? The answers to all these questions are an excellent education for less than 50.00. That’s why this would be a great Bino for kids. If they really get into it then the can always upgrade; when they get more serious into nature or astronomy – if they dont get addicted to binoculars at least they had the experience. I liked these so much i bought one for my nephew and gave the pair i owned to another teenager.
I own much better quality Astronomy Binoculars – so i know how these are not as good – but for starting or experimenting they are great.
They were in my Backpack when the pack fell off a door hook and hit the floor – it put them out of collimation. But i just pry up the rubber and tweak the screws and line them up again. Experimenting with that itself was a nice learning experience – and the best part – its not a big loss if they were permanently damaged.
If you want to upgrade then here are my suggestions:
$100.00 approx. is the next step up.
Olympus 10×50 has good reviews if you are just interested in Nature – they are very sharp (apparently) but have Bk7 prisms which is a bit dim for Astro.
Bushnell Legacy WP 10×50 would be the best buy in this range. I own a pair and i would say they are close to double the quality for the price. Reviews put them close to the Nikon Action Extreme 10×50.
Next step up is $200.00 range.
Nikon Action Extreme ATB 10×50 or 12×50 or Pentax SP WP in the same sizes. I have the Pentax 12×50 and like it A LOT. But again i feel by Bushnell Legacy is close to same quality for half the price. Of course i can see a bit more because the Pentax is 12x – but for comfort, optics, collimation, feel, Water proof etc. the Bushnell Legacy really gives the Pentax ( and Nikon although i dont own one) a run for the money.
Next step is $300 t0 $500 dollars and if you are in this range then you have some fun shopping to do and really want to know your tastes…. And that’s review is about. What are your tastes? The Skygenius is and inexpensive way to find out and have fun experimenting. If you find 10x a bit too shaky then you now you KNOW you won’t want to buy a 12×50. And if you know you want freehand / handheld then you might want 8x only. If you are ready to buy a quality Nature Bino then you are settling on something like a Nikon or Vortex 8x. How did you learn what you like? By owning a cheap pair that allows you to practice, learn, and discover your likes and dislikes – and that’s why i recommend this Bino.

I was really impressed with the range, clarity and sharpness at this price point.

The binoculars are everything that they stated in the description and well worth the money. They pass all the tests that I put them through.
I use them for star-gazing and they work out great. The shipping speed was great as well and the product was packaged exceptionally well.

Purchased these based on 2500 reviews at 4.5 stars. They arrived within 48 hours and appeared to be exactly as advertised. Sadly, they fell apart upon my first use to the point that they no longer work.
I contacted the vendor who promptly sent a new pair and everything seems in order this time. Any company that stands behind their product like they did get my vote. Problems will arise, it’s how they are handled that counts!

These have pretty amazing clarity, light gathering, and field of view for the price. They’re not compact and they’re not especially light. The case that comes with it has a shoulder strap but not like the ones that go over both shoulders so you can wear it on your chest while hunting. That said, for the basic function of making things at a distance look significantly closer, more clear, and distinguishable, for this price its an amazing value, huge happy surprise which I risked due to all the positive ratings, so I wanted to add one to confirm, it’s well worth the price for the quality of function and item you receive.

I purchased this one on accident I was looking for a zoom feature but when I did try it out it had some good clear images for about 300 yards away. Would definitely recommend if you’re just looking at birds and the 100yard to 200 yard range

I’m an average bird watcher. I don’t have alot of experience with many different binoculars but right out of the box I was impressed. I was even more impressed when I looked thru them. I would buy again. I have been using my 25 year old Bushnells 7×35, I would call these an upgrade.

These were a good deal when I paid $55 for them three years ago! They are now $39, and either way, I doubt you can find a better pair of binoculars for the money. The large field of vision is very nice. It lets in a lot of light, making them great in low-light conditions and celestial viewing. If you ever happen to lose them, because of the low price, you won’t cry yourself to sleep. Of course, because you only paid $39, you’ll never lose them! 🙂

Haven’t had a chance to get out with them yet but they are nice quality especially for the price and hoping once back in the woods that they work well under low light –
