This power strip was a great addition to our living room. I used to have a surge, protector plugged into another surge protector to reach. The outlet was behind the couch and nothing was long enough to reach the table, where we needed the extra plug ins. This surge protector works perfectly with added features. I can easily turn off any unused side and it also supplies us with the needed USB ports and 12 outlets (8 more than we had!). The stand-up feature also frees up some space on the table. This was a great purchase!

What I like is that it is not too tall, so it’s not tippy. It’s got a good base and a long cord to plug in. You can push the button at the bottom to turn off that section of the plugs. I bought a different style about a year ago, and it was tall, and thin & tipped over easily. This is a far better choice and is well thought out as well as well made. I don’t know that I would take it traveling, its one of the questions that was asked for overall rating.

This tower presents a small footprint on a desk which truly helps especially if your desk is messy like mine is. Each outlet side has an on off switch allowing more control than a single switch for all the plugs. There is also a side with 5 usb outlets. A very good feature. So far it has worked very well for me. I didn’t notice when I purchased this but it has a 16 foot cord. WONDERFUL. I give it another .5 star for a total of 4.5 stars.
Two issues I have with the tower. 1. Is that it is very light and not weighted on the bottom. Thus it will fall over easily, especially if the plugs aren’t balanced around. I may attach a wide washer on the bottom to remedy that. 2. Only one wallwart fits on a side. The spacing is too narrow for more. I was hoping at least 2 would fit. No such luck.
Overall the tower is quite satisfactory and I think it’s a good buy. It will take 12 plugs and 5 usb cables which is more than any other power strip I’ve ever seen.
This review has been rewritten because the company reached out because of my initial review. Their concern for my thoughts on their product and the suggestions I gave for improving it and the description encouraged me to reconsider my thought on the product. I’ve upgraded my star rating and included more positive experience I’ve had. It’s not where I’d planned to use it but works very well where it is now.
