Smartwool Knit Mitt Touchscreen Mitts Description
- WINTER WARMTH. If mittens are your go-to for cold-weather hand warmth, watch the Knit Mitt be your new favorite. Made from a Merino/Polyester blend, enjoy practical features like touchscreen-compatible thumbs and rib-knit cuffs for a bulk-free fit.
- TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE. Designed so you can stay tuned into your phone or tablet when it’s cold, these mittens feature knit-in touchscreen capability on the thumb and index finger.
- WHY MERINO WOOL? Thinner and softer than regular wool, it’s easy to wear next to skin. Each fiber transports sweat away as a vapor, wicks moistures (we tested it ourselves) and regulates body temperature to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.
- RECYCLED FABRIC. Made from a blend of Merino Wool and recycled polyester for increased durability and sustainability, these soft, lightweight mittens offer cozy protection for adventurous cold days.
- FUNCTIONAL FEATURES. Go far, feel good with thoughtful tech to keep you adventuring comfortably — rib knit cuff finishing gives a bulk-free fit while the versatile, lightweight knit offers ease of movement.

Amazon Customer –
Be aware of what you are buying, they are the same weight and weave as their socks. They are thin and blended with polyester so they are going to be warm enough for 36 degree weather, nothing below.

I’ve been looking for a mitten to wear at night and early morning (carpal tunnel is much worse when it’s cold), and these are PERFECT! Most of what I found were super thick, cable knit mittens that were too bulky for what I needed. These are thin AND warm AND functional (the thumb allows for navigating on smart phones, tablets, etc). Also the wrist is long enough to cover the wrist, not be too tight (so no wrist-choking), and keep the mitten in place. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Thank you Smartwool!
Torri Peterson –
Thin, big, and floppy. Didn’t work on my touch screen.
Lenna –
Very light, knit, and quick to dry. I use them when I run/walk outside.
Lori Laurila –
Absolutely love the mittens. Warm. So thin. Amazing!!!!!!!
Mowrind –
I got these to wear inside my leather mittens while snow-blowing etc. The leathers are a bit large and could also stand to be warmer. So these are serving as liners, which they do well.
Best of all, they’re mittens, not gloves. They don’t separating fingers from each other as gloves do. This is always warmer.

I like these mittens a lot. They are thick enough material that they aren’t too breezy when I wear them on their own. And they add a very noticeable amount of insulation when I wear them under my down mitts.
The material is really smooth and comfortable, not scratchy at all. And they basically keep feeling dry all day long, they never seem to accumulate any sweat from my palms or absorb any water from outside.
A good choice from this trusted brand.

These fit me a little bit too big but are worth keeping. The quality is very good and they are somewhat lightweight but easier to handle things. They are nice and warm.
