Smartwool Thermal Merino Gloves Description
- WINTER WARMTH. Beat the chill with our Thermal Merino Gloves. Not only will you stay warm, but these touchscreen-compatible gloves are designed with performance-oriented Merino wool to give you that luxurious feel.
- TOUCH SCREEN COMPATIBLE. Designed so you can stay tuned into your phone or tablet when it’s cold, these gloves feature knit-in touch screen capability on the thumb and index finger.
- CLASSIC THERMAL MERINO. Ideal for cold-weather activities where warmth and breathability are crucial, this midweight fabric used a 100% Merino wool construction that helps move moisture away from skin to keep you warm and dry.
- WHY MERINO WOOL? Thinner and softer than regular wool, it’s easy to wear next to skin. Each fiber transports sweat away as a vapor (we tested it ourselves) and regulates body temperature to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.
- GO FAR. FEEL GOOD. From wool socks to winter gloves for men, women and kids, we aim to provide the highest quality apparel for your outdoor adventures with a commitment to environmental sustainability, racial equity and inclusivity.

I am happy it fits good and materials also has a good quality

Overall I am disappointed in these gloves. The fabric weave is “loose” and the fit is sloppy. I took the time to properly measure my hand to ensure I was ordering the correct size. I think the quality is good, not great, but the fit doesn’t really work.

Devo ancora testare la resistenza al freddo ma, confido nella marca e nella lana merino. Bellissimo il colore e sottili al punto giusto per essere indossati come sottoguanti

While I have used only once, I climbed a mountain in Colorado and they had to work. They did. I stayed warm and dry. They are thin enough to place a large glove-mitten over it. I like the extra wrist length and the smart phone touch sensitive material works.

Good liners, love the wool

First time I’ve ever been disappointed in my life by Smartwool. Two holes (not on seams). What happened?

Love Smartwool but this glove stretched out fast, making them awkward to wear. You need to wash them to shrink back down between wears.

I usually order large gloves in TNF but these were too loose. I reordered Medium and they fit still a little loose. I have long slim fingers. Pink is a pretty, true pink as the photo shows.

I deal with Raynaud’s (my fingers and toes are often cold, not a circulation issue though). As a result, I keep gloves everywhere, in every coat and some for in the house. I bought a pair of these because they had my favorite color, teal, and my Smartwool socks do a fair job for my toes.
I love these gloves – so much I bought 3 more pairs. That’s saying a lot as I generally prefer fingerless gloves as I hate the loss of dexterity (FYI, side note, if you keep your wrists warm, your fingers will stay warmer even if bare). I love that the gloves are thin, so I can still “feel” things. They go down past my wrists so help keep them warm, and can tuck into a jacket sleeve. The screen touch portions work fairly well. I should note, I’m in between sizes. I opted for the larger size, but I think that effects how well the screen touch works for me. All in all, I definitely recommend.
