I have three Snark clip on tuners and they all work well. They are inexpensive, easy to use and accurate enough. A strobe tuner may be slightly more accurate but I’m not spending the time to get the last 1/2% accuracy… since it will naturally go out of tune with temperature and humidity changes anyhow. Recharging is pretty quick and a charge lasts me several months and I tune before each practice session.

I’ve had a bunch of different Snark tuners over the years. I like them because of their great convenience, BUT… Some of the ones I have can be hard to read, some have on/off buttons that are hard to operate, some of them sometimes do a lot of wavering and refuse to settle down on a consistent value. This one is super bright and easy to read, and it settles quickly and firmly on a tuning value. Buying another today.
