This product does not hold a charge and it doesn’t have an on/off button so you obviously let it sit. I don’t get it. It stops working in the middle of me using it. It goes on and off and then it doesn’t turn on again. This thing costs entirely too much money for it not to work properly. I will be getting a refund since I can’t use it. Day 1 I charged it and used it immediately and it was fine. I out it away for the day next and started to use it and it shut off and wouldn’t work. I charged it and let it sit and used it again but I couldn’t even get the minimum 3 minutes out of it. I read the manual to see if it said anything specific about how to charge it and it says it holds up 90 minutes of use time but if I’m not using it why wouldn’t it work after it has been charged? Because of this I do not recommend it. I was unable to use it for a prolonged period of time because of the charging issue.

Just started using it but so far I love the serum and the wand itself

Been using this for over two weeks, and increasing the times. At first, I noticed the neck looked to become more defined. Now, I can tell with the fine lines around my eyes and the deep smile lines. I recommend using it after you cleanse your face with a foam/cream. Then, add a moderate amount of serum and use it for a couple of seconds to a minute. Increasing with everyday use, I can almost guarantee that you will get your monies worth.

I am 42, with medium olive acne prone, oily skin, who is trying to help slow aging (without injections or facelifts) while not causing breakouts at the same time. So after using this for some time I can tell you, it does get rid of skin discolorations very noticeably.

After my breakout heals, sometimes the acne will leave behind a dark spot for a long while and the Solawave helped to lighten these type of discolorations. I also had one sun spot on my neck, which it also lightened.

I do feel like it helps redistribute puffiness, increases circulation, & massages plus warms the muscles of the face so they are not as tight… so it has the potential to increase collagen & slow wrinkles. Does my skin feel tighter & do I have less wrinkles? Idk, maybe, maybe not. I feel like it does at least temporarily, & perhaps it is preventing further wrinkles. My skin is oily though, so I do not have that much wrinkles compared to others my age.

I do have dark undereye circles (no eye bags) and I do NOT notice a difference in them lightening. At least they aren’t darkening. I also do not notice any permanent shrinkage of pores.

Lastly, I was allergic to the pretty blue Hyaluronic acid serum the device came with, & broke out the few times I used it. I am able to use my own serums that I am not sensitive to with the Solawave instead. You should have your skin very hydrated when using the Solawave wand on your skin, else it will make your skin dry & flake. I use serums & moisturizers before using the wand, then additional moisturizer afterwards.

I would definitely buy this again & am thinking of getting my mom one for Mother’s Day. I recommend the red light therapy wand.

This wand is a good option for red light therapy if you don’t want to get an entire mask. You can also focus in more detail on specific sections of your face and neck. It holds a charge for a very long time and is easy to turn on and off. The serum is also nice. It’s cooling, is not sticky, and doesn’t leave a residue. To charge, the wand plugs into a USB. It’s small and easy to use for travel.

I love my solowave facial wand. Initially, I thought I might have to return it because it would only work for less than a minute before shutting off and staying off. I charged it for a full 24-hours, and I haven’t had problems with it since. It holds the charge for several days. I use it every night before bed and find it extremely relaxing. However, I prefer to use it on clean, dry skin without the serum it comes with. Using the serum is messy and sticky and prevents the wand from gliding smoothly. I have seen a noticeable improvement in the size of the pores and improved skin texture.

I’ve only been using this for a week or two. I’m not 100% impressed with it. I wish it was bigger to cover more areas quicker. There is no timer on it so you need to pay attention how long it stays on for, so set a timer. Or it’ll shut off when your skin isn’t as moist. Either apply more serum or stop using it if it’s been longer then they recommend.
The bottle of serum that came with it was more then half gone… idk if it was used or there was an issue when it was being made…
Amazon thankfully sent me a new bottle of serum and I sent the original back.
I’m not too fond of the scent of the serum either and I haven’t noticed much difference in my skin since I started using it. I have very sensitive skin and haven’t had any breakouts or negative effects so far but it doesn’t always happen right away either.
The wand, I’ve used twice a day and haven’t noticed any difference but it’s too soon to tell if it’s actually doing anything. I suffer from adult acne and I’m 40, I have crows feet. I also get botox every 3-4 months around my eyes. So I need a bit of help to prevent my wrinkles from getting worse. So I’m hoping these so called LED lights will actually work and not be a gimmick. Time will tell.
So far I haven’t had any issues with my wand not working. Obviously if your skin is completely dry it won’t turn or stay on like other reviewers have complained about. But it states how the wand works in the instructions and description on Amazon…. One thing I don’t like is that your skin has to be moist for it to work. This obviously causes us to use A TON of serums!! That’s not necessary and a big waste of product. I spend sometimes hundreds of dollars on a tiny bottle of serum, I’m not wasting it just to use this wand. I will need to find an alternative or maybe an oil free based lotion or cream or use a cheaper serum. I don’t see myself continuing to buy the serum that comes with it. They trick us with our eyes… the way the bottle is designed makes it look like it has so much more product in it then it really does! I don’t like companies who do that, therefore I will not purchase anything from them for trying to be sneaky. But that just my personal preference. I’m
Only giving this 3 stars for now since it’s too early and because of how they designed the wand to work. There are other products available where you use no products on your skin before using the LED light. Then after the light, that’s when you apply the serums and other products to your skin. So it’s weird it’s backwards. You can’t really use the wand without moisturizing skin so it’s pointless to try using it before applying serums. So idk. I’ll give it time to see what happens. I’ll come back to update my review in the future if I have any update and I continue to use it. I feel like an LED face mask would be better for most people as I do have one as well. But I wanted to try something different as the mask is a big, heavy and uncomfortable. However there are better qualities to look into.
I hope this information is helpful. I try to include information I was looking for while I was shopping around for this kind of item.
I forgot to mention that people have stated theirs broke. You can only move it one way. But once you take the sticker off it’s hard to know which way it should go. I have not adjusted it at all. I just leave it be so it’s ready to use again. I don’t want to risk breaking such an expensive item. So it might be best to flip it out and leave it. If your taking it while traveling, keep the box and put it in there so it doesn’t break.
