I’ve been using the Solawave for three weeks, and so far I’m pleased with the results.

    What I like:

    – The wand automatically turns on when it comes into contact with hydrated skin, which makes it super easy to use.
    – I like the warm feeling when using the wand and actually can be relaxing.
    – After some getting used to it only takes 3-5 minutes a day to use.
    – After about three weeks of use, I’ve noticed a noticeable difference in my skin. I notice less redness, fewer wrinkles, and slightly less dark spots.

    What I don’t like/didn’t like:

    – It took some time getting used to using the wand and at first it seemed time-consuming. After using it for some time I seemed to get the hang of it and was able to lower the time to about 3-5 minutes.
    – The wand isn’t cheap.

Overall, I wasn’t too sure about this device, but after seeing some results, I’m excited to continue using it and see if it will continue to improve my skin.

I like using the Solawave 4-in-1 Radiant Renewal Wand and Serum Bundle. You only need to treat your skin for 3 minutes in each section, the cheeks, the under eyes, the forehead, and the neck, a total of 12 minutes per day of 3 days per week that is easy and doable.

What I like most about this wand is it automatically stops after 3 minutes and starts again. This way,you don’t have to stare at your clock/watch or use a timer. I was surprised to see some instant results around my eyes and jawline. My fine lines around my eyes are noticeably reduced, my undereye puffiness is reduced and my jawline has become firmer. They are temporary, though it gives me hope that by using this wand continuously, my skin will improve. I have tried several red light therapies in different forms, but this one is the only one I got the result. I think that the combination of the red light, the galvanic current, the warmth, and the vibration makes it different.

Although, the vibrations I feel are more on my hand than my skin and the activating serum rather dries quickly. I suggest spraying some water on top of the serum on your skin when it dries out.

Overall, this is a great option for the skin renewal wand out of many. It’s expensive, but I think it’s worth it. I would recommend it.

I find it difficult to commit to a beauty routine and stick to it. Especially when it’s time consuming. I have tried to do better about my skin as I approach forty and decided to try this. It is time consuming and I found the red light bothersome near my eyes when I used it. It did seem to help with discoloration and I hope that I will continue to see good results.

This does work, but it’s not going to be a fast night and day difference. It will take consistent daily use to see a slight/noticeable improvement over months. It’s an addition to a routine and not a quick fix. The red light in this wand seems brighter/more intense than others on the market. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you manage your expectations appropriately.

Red light therapy is supposed to help over time, but many devices seem to be of middling quality. The red light on this seems more intense than some. The galvanized current is supposed to allow your products to penetrate better. The heat & massage aspect are bonuses to this device that won’t hurt and might help.

Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but I really think my skincare progress has accelerated since using this device. I use some quality products, and slowly, over time, I have been seeing improvement. Either it’s this device or complete coincidence, but I have been seeing more progress, faster, since I’ve started using this device. I really expected results to take a lot longer.

The directions suggest applying serum in just one treatment area at a time so it doesn’t dry up before you’ve covered that area. The wand has 3 min intervals with a total 12 min operating time. The intervals work like an electric toothbrush to keep you on an area long enough and to move you to the next area. Keep your serum ready to apply to the new area as soon as it’s time to switch (I’ve been letting my device spread my serum around). It’s relaxing and soothing to use with the heat & massage aspects; I find it comforting.

The serum that comes with this has excellent ingredients. It gets a 100/100 on Yuka and has no fragrance, so most skin will appreciate it. It’s one of the better serums out there if you are looking for non-controversial ingredients. You can also use other serums of your choice giving you a lot of flexibility.

The main negatives to this device are price and longevity. Obviously, it’s expensive. And, in the manual, the expected life of the device (I’m assuming the battery which is not replaceable?) is about 2 years. It’s a real bummer to pay this much for something that has an expected obsolescence date so soon, but it is what it is (what we do for beauty!).

Activating Serum Ingredients (since not currently part of the listing): Water/aqua/eau, Glycerin, Propanediol, Pentylene Glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, Diglycerin, Tamarindus Indica Seed Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Caprylyl Glycol, Acrylates/c10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Polyacrylate, Nonapeptide-1, Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Copper Gluconate, Carbomer, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Hydroxide, Glucose, Sodium Phosphate, Potassium, Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Disodium Phosphate
