Amazon Customer –
Does it what it described
Just a bit high for its price
GeoM –
Had a generic version of this for a while and it gave me so many issues with needing to unplug it to discharge and then plug it back in for my camera to power on. Official version of course did not give me issues. While the price is more than triple that of a generic. Avoiding the daily issues was worth the cost.
Yasir Zia –
There’s lot of cheaper versions of this cord, but you get what you pay for. This official adaptor is well worth spending the extra money for something that will last you years. Just plug it into your camera battery slot and an AC outlet and you’re good!
Make sure to check that this adaptor will work for your particular camera.
Whit Prophet –
Super long cable, making my ZV-E10 quite versatile in different settings. Great product to have for long recording sessions.

This is a very high quality unit that seems to put out a regular and proper voltage, some of the cheaper knockoffs over these can have some fluctuations and sometimes put a little bit too much in I’ve heard of people frying cameras with them so do you really want to trust your $700 or $5,000 camera body with a cheap dummy battery, I don’t so I figure I might as well spend the $100 or so and get the Sony so you know you’re getting something that’s not going to destroy your camera I’ve been using this for a long time, I make YouTube videos so I’ve got the camera on for several hours a day, it’s been working awesome and I also forget to unplug it when I’m done so even on those days where I forget to unplug it for 2 or 3 days straight there has been no issues or problems so it just seems like a really really nice dummy battery kit

Very satisfied

I bought this because I mainly do talking head videos on my YouTube channel so my camera is always in the same spot definitely worth the money and 100% compatible with the Sony ZV-E10 even has a cord cutout so you can close the battery door.
Ted Butler –
Bought for my a6400 and has been plugged in ever since. Perfect for at-home video, streaming and conference call use-cases. No issues. The dummy battery fits as it should, allowing the battery door to close snugly. Most importantly, the a6400 stays cool when recording for hours and hours! Recommended.

I recently started using the Sony ACPW20 AC Adaptor with my Sony ZV-E10 camera, and it’s been an absolute game changer for my photography and videography sessions. No more stressing about running out of battery power or constantly swapping out batteries during a shoot!
The adaptor provides consistent power to my camera, ensuring that I can focus on capturing the perfect shots without any interruptions. It’s compatible with selected Alpha and compact system cameras, making it a versatile addition to my gear.
One of the best features is its universal voltage (AC 100โ240 V), which means I can take it with me wherever I go without worrying about voltage compatibility. This has been incredibly helpful during my travels and has allowed me to explore new destinations while capturing stunning images and videos.
The Sony ACPW20 AC Adaptor is also lightweight, weighing in at just 10.93 oz, which makes it super easy to pack in my camera bag. Plus, with its low power consumption of 20 W, I can feel good knowing that I’m using an energy-efficient accessory.
In conclusion, the Sony ACPW20 AC Adaptor has truly transformed my experience with my Sony ZV-E10 camera. If you’re looking for a reliable and travel-friendly power solution for your compatible Alpha or compact system camera, I highly recommend giving this adaptor a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Can’t speak for the longevity of this thing but at the moment it works well. Upgraded from a knockoff brand AC adapter and I don’t regret it. The knockoff did work but the Sony one just feels higher quality and it gets rid of the battery percentage at the top where the knockoff didn’t and just lost battery percentage slowly. The cable is really long as well and almost a mess to manage because of its length so I don’t think there will be any cable length issues.
E. Impastato –
It works well. The wires are very thick and the power pack is large
and very heavy, especially when traveling. Certainly useful when using the DSC RX-10 IV, which eats batteries for breakfast.
Roy Richardson –
This item is far superior than any 3rd party gear for this purpose.

So several folks told me to go with the much cheaper alternative and I did. The dummy battery from another vendor lasted all of five months. Then suddenly it gave an incompatible battery error on my Sony ZV-E10. So I swallowed my pride and plopped down my credit card for the Sony dummy battery. It of course worked immediately and has been rock solid. I have accidently left my camera on all night a couple of times and no issues. It works. It is one of those things that work or don’t work so I can only say, it works and I am happy. It has a year warranty as opposed to the knock out that I found out only has a 30 day warranty. Buy cheap and you wind up paying more.
