I’ve had this for a while now, so I’ve really been able to test it out. It’s absolutely perfect, lightweight and compact and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do!
A great choice if you need a charger… stay away from the cheaper knockoff brands as they can sometimes really harm your batteries!
I research all these things… this is the perfect choice if you need a charger for your Sony batteries!
I am very happy with this purchase!

I gave it 5 stars for the delivery which arrived a lot earlier than the supplier’s expected date. However, I gave it 3 stars for the misrepresentation of the item on Amazon as it appear to be shown to have a 2-pin AC adapter (direct wall mount which is what I was interested in), but the item arrived with an extra cable with a 3-pin AC adaptor instead making it an extra bulky item to pack in the bag while travelling.
Apart from that, it seems to be working as described and I’m satisfied with it’s performance.

I got this right before our recent overseas trip and I was very pleased with it. Suffice to say it works exactly how a charger should work. Plug it in, insert battery, and wait for it to get all juiced up. I will say one slightly weird thing was the battery charging progress meter would turn off once you’ve finished charging, so for those people who are forgetful or assume the worst, it may appear the battery wasn’t charged. But in every instance so far it has charged up the Sony NP-FV70A battery just fine. Other than that, it does have a nice flip-away plug which makes it easy to store while traveling. Charging time is probably around 2 hours-ish, I don’t know because in all instances I left the battery charging overnight!

Excellent charger. Charges three types of Sony batteries. Clear LED indicators that keep you informed. This is a well-built and easy-to-use charger. Recommended.

The charger works but for some reason mine doesnt display the accurate battery level. The only way I can see where my battery level is, is to put my battery in my camcorder and turn it on. It worked perfectly the first time I used it. The second time I used it and from then on I have had it display incorrectly.

Bought this to use with both a Sony DSC-HX100V camera and a Sony HRX-160 video camera (Amazon purchases) as they use a Sony “V” and “H” series battery. Originally bought a generic charger at Target which I though was doing the job as a pain to charge battery in camera..make a long story short thought I was having to recharge battery more frequently than needed as use both cameras moderately so bought one of each new OEM batteries as again thought that was the problem maybe…same problem with replacements so went back to recharging in camera which is awkward and a pain at times but noticed batteries lasted longer. Returned charger to Target and exchanged for another brand..again battery was not lasting as long as when charged in camera so bought this OEM charger. Took one each of the two batteries that thought were FULLY charged and to my surprise when inserted into the BCTRV got only two yellow lights and took another 15-20 minutes for third yellow light to show and then finish charging. Never hurts to have a spare battery as usually use the cameras more in the summer…OEM batteries that is.. and is obvious to me now and OEM charger. “HIGHLY” recommend this product…thanks again AMAZON

Beats using the USB cable on my Sony camcorder to charge my battery!
I bought this when it went on sale for $32, awesome deal, well worth it, works great!

One of the rare times where I bought factory and I’m glad I did. This charges from dead extremely fast (in the off case I’m not tethered to power) and has a very tiny footprint that fits in my bag easily. I can get by with two batteries no problem thanks to this little charger!

Great little device for charging. Takes very little room in the carrying bag. Highly recommended for as an accessory. Great price and delivery from Amazon.

It works great. I received it yesterday and used it for the first time. So far so good. However the description is completely wrong. It does not come with a cable, the charger itself plugs into the wall which is fine by me.
