Me di cuenta de que el sabor del café es distinto al de otra cafetera que uso y que es de filtro normal, siendo este último más agradable que el de la cafetera Showtec. Supuse que podría deberse al hecho de que el agua en estado gaseoso es muy caliente, por lo que procedí a remojar el café en el filtro con agua a temperatura ambiente, de tal forma que al llegar el vapor hasta el café recién molido este se combine con el agua líquida empapada en el café molido, bajando así la temperatura del vapor. Esto me resultó a la perfección y pude recuperar ese muy agradable y ligero sabor ácido que por lo general tiene un café bien preparado.

I’ve had this espresso machine for a few weeks now and I have to say it was well worth the money. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and always consistent cups of coffee. It makes the coffee taste better than my local coffee shop. It’s so fun to wake up and have this frothy delicious latte every morning.

We wanted an espresso maker but didn’t have room for one of the giant sized ones. Only 2 of us out of 5 drink straight black espresso. The other 3 need sugar and milk. This seemed to be the perfect size plus it got great reviews. Very easy to use and clean! My last espresso maker was a PAIN to clean. This one is super easy. Makes 4 ozs. You can also steam milk if you are so inclined. Perfect for our needs.

This is a great little expresso maker! It takes very little space and provides expresso comparable to the machine it replaces.
The carafe is so damn cute!
But.
The coffee ground filter is metal. The handle and holder for this metal filter are ALL PLASTIC. The metal grounds filter also has to be held IN the plastic molded handle holder by a small plastic piece when emptying the used grounds from the metal filter. There’s no little metal nobs on the metal filter to hold it into the handle holder.
What does all that mean?
How long will it be to when the handle holder breaks and it won’t hold the metal filter to brew expresso? When this important part has to be replaced (because when plastic breaks – there’s no glue or tape that can hold it together).
Previous expresso filter holder handle that are all plastic have broken. We can continue to brew because the filter AND filter holder were METAL. This isn’t the case for this machine. Holder handle breaks – we can’t brew until maybe we find a replacement.
We will be enjoying the machine until something plastic breaks. The first machine lasted a number of years because of the metal parts. We shall see – but so far – we are happy with the expresso maker!!!!
Silence of the knight –
Perfect for my needs, the steam nozzle isn’t very powerful and there’s no water level indicator so if you accidentally overfill you’ll be getting hot water shooting out instead of steam, so just make sure it’s emptied so you can measure out the water you put in and fix that issue

Easy to use! For my small kitchen it doesn’t take up space and that’s what I need. My kids bought this for me for my birthday and I’m excited!! What a beautiful product! And having a small kitchen it doesn’t take much space. Easy to use and clean!

For the price, this product is unbelievable. The machine arrived super fast, and the instructions were extremely clear. The manual thoroughly explains everything.
The cappuccino that you get out of this machine is simply amazing. I could not tell the difference between Starbucks and my homemade cup. If I don’t buy from Starbucks six more times, I will already have broken even with this product.
The product itself appears to be well-built, and the included glass carafe is excellent. I am very happy with the product.
P.S. I made a stupid mistake while brewing. Don’t try to take out the frothed milk without turning it off. This will create a mess in your kitchen. Turn the knob off, take out the cup, and release the remaining steam. This is included in the instructions, but I was getting ahead of myself. And remember, you have to add additional water for frothing after you create espresso.

This machine is advertised as an espresso machine, however it doesn’t have the needed pressure to poor a proper shot of espresso. It does get close though, creating concentrated coffee and it has a powerful steam wand capable of micro foam and latte art. So for a home coffee machine that gives the feel of a gourmet coffee, and for the price it’s a good buy.
