Love this case for my iPad mini 4. I found it to fit perfect. It is a tight fit, but isn’t it supposed to be?! I see reviews from others stating they could not get the case off, but I have not yet tried to remove the case, so I don’t know how difficult it will be. I love the fact that it latches closed, and also has three different angles. Love the magenta color too! Am also purchasing one for our iPad Pro. Love it.

I bought this cover for my iPad mini 4. A black, white and gray botanical theme is accented by a plum border and adds just enough color. The fit is quite tight around my iPad and I have no worries about the tablet falling from this case. My case does not have a wake/sleep feature but that is a very small complaint compared to the fit and pretty look of the cover. I was looking for a case that was secure, eye catching and functional and this case fits all my criteria since it acts as a stand, and has a cover over my iPad screen that can be latched closed. The slim design and fit also works for most of the purses I carry and my carry on travel bags.

I absolutely love this case!!! This review is for the cover that is gray with flowers. I’ve had many cases for my iPad mini prior to this one and none of them even compare to this one. I love the functionality of it. It holds the iPad mini 4 perfectly so it doesn’t come out easily and it has a latch/snap that keeps it closed when not in use or holds the front flap back tightly when you are using it. I really didn’t know if I would like the latch before I ordered it but it really has become one of my favorite features. The sleep/wake function works perfectly. The stand makes it great for viewing at several angles. Also, the way it is made, it directs the speakers toward the front of the iPad so the sound is much better than even without a cover at all. In fact, when you lay your iPad on your lap or a blanket or pillow sometimes the sound will be muffled from material covering the speakers but with this feature you don’t have to worry about that anymore. The inside has a super soft velvety feel so it protects the screen and the outside has a soft, almost leather feel, not that cheap plastic feel that many covers have. It is a very attractive cover. I’ve only had it for about 4 months but I use it all the time, every day and it still looks brand new. If you’re looking for a great iPad mini case, look no further.

Good fit. Cut outs are in perfect alignment with devices buttons. Material offers good protection and some slip-reduction when device is placed on a solid surface. Clip can be used to secure close the cover. Cover folds back on itself and lays flat. Multi-position slots are secure. When on the stand, the device does not slip very comfortable for watching video or onscreen typing. My original case lasted 3 years. The plastic frame caught on something and the corner broke. The rest of the case was perfect after 3 years.

I’m very pleased with this iPad Mini case. Two features that are must-haves for me are ease of installation and ability to stand the tablet on its side to watch videos. This has both. I vacillated over which color to get and ended up with the black-and-white floral design, largely because it had the fuschia trim, which I think is a nice, subtle touch. Pressing the iPad into the case takes a little bit of effort, but that’s okay, because that means the iPad won’t come loose. The case is nice and slim and fits in my purse or laptop bag easily. All of the controls and outlets/jacks are exposed for convenience. You can fold the case in a couple of different ways to stand the tablet up. I’m very pleased, and the price was right.

Only have time for a quick review but want to let you know this is a great portfolio case for the iPad Mini 4. I had a previous case for my old iPad Mini and wanted the same thing if possible. This is it. There were some original complaints against some of the newer models but I think this one has solved those complaints: doesn’t put device in sleep mode when closed. This one does. Sound ports are blocked. This one has angled sound ports which seem to perhaps magnify the sound. Mine is plenty loud. Best of all, it protects your device well with the plastic case into which your device fits, and with your device completely covered by the low profile portfolio case. It is rugged. My original case for my first iPad mini from years ago is still going strong but doesn’t fit the newer thinner iPad. My theory is, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. My first one was fine and it appears that this one has all the quality built in that my original did. I was happy with my old one and I am happy with this one. I highly recommend it!

I took advantage of a Black Friday deal at Best Buy for a 64GB mini 4 and quickly found out that my case for my mini 3 wasn’t an exact fit, which lead me to search for a new one. My “must haves” were compact, protective of all edges and back, and a versatile stand. I mostly browse the web on my mini with an occasional Clash of Clans raiding session, so my mini goes everywhere I go and full protection was a priority coming from a Belkin that left my chrome bezel slightly scratched up. This case does add to the overall thickness, however not in an unsightly way. It cradles the entire tablet perfectly and features the magic cover benefit, putting the tablet to sleep when you close it. The unit looks great, provides every cutout and even “scoops” the audio toward you. Very impressed with the quality and highly recommend for power and casual users, however maybe not for use with toddlers/young children (lacks shock absorption if dropped).

It’s too bad that these aren’t separated because it’s really two different models. One is the older one that doesn’t have auto-wake and one is newer and does have the auto sleep/wake function. I contacted Speck and made sure the one I got was newer (it’s the one with the black and white flowers).
This is a solid case, not too heavy but durable. I took off a star because of the clip. First off, I didn’t want a clip to close it, they close fine without one. I wish I had noticed it in the picture before I ordered. But even if you did want one, this one barely closes. It’s a cheap plastic and reminds me of toy purses I had as a kid. They should have used a snap or metal.
