We’ve gone through a lot of different types of toothbrushes for our 4 kids (9 y/o and under) and I greatly prefer this type of head over the ones that don’t move but have a high-speed motor for vibrating. The mechanical movement does a much better job overall at cleaning their teeth and gums, the heads are replaceable, and the batteries are easily swapped. Even though these are more expensive up front, they last a loooot longer.

Gosh, where to even begin? For the past several years, my wife and I have been using (switching back and forth, that is) both the Oral B and Phillips Sonicare electric brushes. Both have their positives and negatives. In addition, I’ve recently also been trying various Asian-made spin-offs of both these style brushes, and some have functioned remarkably well with more bells and whistles than the big boy brands they are trying to replicate.

Now enter this little known “Spin Brush Pro” AA-battery powered brush. When it arrived, I wasn’t really expecting much, falsely assuming that this “different” design was just an Asian-made attempt at creating a better mouse trap. But boy was I wrong – and pleasantly so.

To begin with, it already comes with two batteries. Now, for those of you who may have used AA battery powered inexpensive toothbrushes in the past, you know that other models usually take just 1 AA battery. But this Spin Brush Pro uses two AA’s, and thus the center part is a bit fatter than other brands. There are two buttons that are raised, one to turn on the toothbrush, and the one right below it to turn it off. The battery compartment is on the bottom, and you just have to twist the end cap and pull it off to insert/remove batteries. There is waterproof sealing along the bottom also.

Now to be honest, it is a bit noisy – certainly more so than some other brushes. But the surprise came in how this brush operates. You see, it seemingly takes the best features of both the Oral B and the everpresent Phillips Sonicare style brushes and combines them into one unit. One part of the brush head turns like the Oral B, while the other half of the brushes moves side to side (or up and down, depending on how you hold the toothbrush in your hands) like the Sonicare. In other words, it does a whole lot of brushing in a variety of directions. From the moment you use it, you realize that it is trying to do a much better job than all the others because of the increased amount of space that the larger brush heads are covering.

After the first time using this, I was hooked, and I knew I would be using this brush more and more as time went on. My teeth feel cleaner after using this Spin Brush Pro brush. As for the longevity of the Spin Brush Pro, I can’t tell you yet because I haven’t had it long enough, but I do know from past experiences with other AA-powered brushes, they tend to last much longer than the rechargeable ones (in my experience, that is).

So count me “hooked” at this design and why more hasn’t been made of it and how the dual brushes work, is beyond me. In my opinion – having tried a dozen different electric brushes over the past year – this Spin Brush Pro is, in fact, a “better mouse trap.” Additionally, I will be purchasing more just to have on hand. Wow, I’m completely satisfied. Here is a very budget priced brush set up (2 in one pack with extra brushes) for a pittance – it’s uncanny.

There’s really nothing else that I can add…

Give this brush a try…I believe that for the most part, you will enjoy using it.

Here are some reasons and benefits:

    1. Effective Cleaning: The spinning motion can provide a more thorough clean compared to manual brushing, reaching more areas and removing more plaque.
    2. Ease of Use: Requires less manual effort, making it easier for children, the elderly, or individuals with limited dexterity to brush effectively.
    3. Built-in Timers: Many spin brush toothbrushes come with built-in timers to ensure you’re brushing for the recommended two minutes.
    4. Multiple Modes: Often includes different brushing modes (e.g., sensitive, whitening, gum care) to cater to various dental needs.
    5. Replaceable Heads: The heads can be replaced as needed, making it a more sustainable option over time.
    6. Encourages Better Habits: The novelty and efficiency of a spin brush can encourage more regular and thorough brushing habits.

Lo que me gusta de este cepillo es que tiene doble dirección y se siente realmente que limpia muy bien los dientes A diferencia de otros que solamente tienen un cepillo que va en una sola dirección

Good units/brush heads and the price is certainly right. But I found the included not-for-retail-sale-Chinese-made-Duracells (if they really are) do not provide enough energy right out of the box. Any pressure slows the brushes down considerably. Replaced them with retail sale Duracells (assembled in the USA or EU) and the brushes work great! The price of new batteries is certainly absorbed by the overall cost of the brushes.

We’ve been using these toothbrushes for years. They have a nice long life and are affordable so when one goes it doesn’t hurt the wallet. Batteries last a long time as well and are easy to replace.
