Even though these are specifically labeled as being for boys, we got this for our Little Girl. And we’re pretty happy with them. They fit well, they look cute. The material feels good, and she’s comfy in them. They’re honestly a bit on the pricey side, as far as what we would normally spend on clothing. But they do seem worth the price, as far as the look and feel of them. They’d make a very nice gift, if you aren’t already getting them for your child. We definitely recommend them.

My not-quite 4-year-old little boy has been wearing these premium-priced camo sweatpants and though they’re nice, my wife an I agree that the price is a bit excessive in our opinion.
Let’s get the good stuff covered first, the sweatpants are really cute and my son loves them and if they’re clean and in his dresser, they’re getting worn. The pants have three pockets; one on each leg and one in back. The material is a nice blend of Cotton and Rayon with touches of elastic on the waist and leg cuffs. They’re plenty warm and have been getting a lot of use during this exceptionally cold Winter season.
I should note that the fit here is slim but not overly done. My little guy hasn’t complained but something to be aware of. These aren’t loose-fitting baggy-type sweats.
That said, $30+ for a pair of kids sweatpants is really steep! My wife and I are conservative shoppers for our kids’ clothes because they, like most kids, outgrow them quickly or in the case of pants wear certain parts extremely fast. My kids tend to wear the knees out in their pants, in particular.
That said, if you’re okay with the price, order away and you likely won’t be disappointed.

What’s not to love about these cute indigo short pants? They are well-made and 99% cotton which is hard to find. They have just the perfect stretch to the fabric at just 1%. They are a french Terry cloth so are quite warm and super comfortable to wear. The waistband is just right for my thin and tall little boy with enough give for another boy who is a little chunkier around the waist. The pocket on the back adds character and the cuffs at the bottom don’t scratch or irritate the skin. The color is true throughout the product. They need to be washed on the gentle cycle. Highly recommended.

This Splendid brand little boy’s size 7 sport pant is a great addition for boys (or girls) for a casual wardrobe. This particular pant is a dark, navy blue color. The fabric is 99% cotton and 1% “other”, but most likely a poly blend because there is a little stretch in the fabric. These pants are like sweatpants. They have a wide, 2-inch- elastic waste with a fake drawstring tie in the front. I cut this off because there is no purpose for it. There are two front side seam pockets and one back patch pocket. The ankles have a wide elastic bank to keep the hem close to the leg. The fabric is a heavy weight, so these are perfect for cool to cold weather, and with the elastic waist, they are easy to slip on and off. There is a fake, sewn in zipper looking area, but there is no zipper, so boys will have to pull these down to go to the bathroom. These can be machine washed with like colors in cool to cold water and a cool dryer. Overall, this item fits as expected and is a great addition to school or play clothes for the fall and winter. Made in China.

I have been a fan of the Splendid brand for quite some time but was only familiar with their women’s wear and maternity line. I had expected these boy’s joggers to be on par with the great quality I’ve come to expect from Splendid, but I am a bit disappointed.
I ordered these joggers in a size 7 for my 5-year-old son who wears a size 6. They are way too small! They are more like a size 5 than a 7. If you are looking to purchase this item I would size up at least two sizes. I’m really sad my son won’t be getting any wear out of these.
Aside for the sizing discrepancy, the quality isn’t great. Although a soft mix of 70% cotton and 30% rayon, they are really thin. The waistband is nice and wide with a good amount of stretch and the ties are non-functional and purely decorative. The stitching is a bit of a mess, with many loose threads and crooked serging. I do like that the crotch is gusseted, it’s a nice touch that allows for more range of motion than a standard seam.
I am quite disappointed to see on the tag that these joggers are made in China, the clothing I have purchased from Splendid in the past has been made in USA. I’m not sure if all their manufacturing is now being outsourced or just the children’s line. The move to China may explain the decline in quality, although I see they are still pricing their items quite high!
For the price, I would not recommend these boy’s jogger’s from Splendid. I purchase my son similarly styled pants from Hanna Andersson that are about the same price point and the quality is miles above these!

my five-year-old is tall and slim, and these pants in a size 7 fit him exactly as expected. The photo shown shows a little bit more of a babyish shape, but in the size 7 at least, the shape was elongated and appropriate to my five-year-olds boyish form.
I really love the fabric, which looks vaguely like denim but also is soft and comfortable like a French Terry, with the gentle looping on the inside wicking away any sweat and being comfortable against his skin. The pants are flexible but don’t stretch out of shape, and they washed really well, if anything getting even softer after a run through the washing machine. No fading.
I’ve been buying things from this brand for myself for years, and I’m delighted to see that they have a children’s line. Everything is really high quality and clearly made to the same high standards as their adult clothing.
