I want to share my experience with the electric patio heater I recently purchased. It is a hanging patio heater, designed to be mounted on the ceiling in outdoor spaces. With a power of 750/1500 W and a cylinder shape, this infrared heater has proven to perform exceptionally well. It is efficient and not heavy, as well as being easy to use. Overall, I am very satisfied with its operation and would recommend it to anyone looking for an outdoor sectional heater.

We replaced the first one of these because the touch switch didn’t work, and they failed to supply an oddball battery. Ordered a new one, along with the weird model coin battery, and are making the second one work, but only via the remote control (the touch switch doesn’t work on the Amazon replacement. Suggest if you want to buy this product that you simultaneously order the #2450 coin battery when you order the product.
Suggestion to manufacturer: (1) Install a touch switch that works, and (2) re-design the remote control to use AA or AAA batteries. Or, if you have to use a coin battery, use a #CR2032. Regardless, supply some batteries with the unit. THEN you will have a 5-star review product!

Iwhen I saw the size of this heater I knew I needed this for my warehouse. It’s a very high WH and gets drafty in winter. My electrician installed it on chains right over our weighing/packing station. My guys are so happy. It works very well. The heat output downwards is fantastic. The remote is handy, we put it on a shelf with a big loop so it won’t get lost. And actually the heater looks pretty good too.

I picked up this Star Patio Electric Heater for my outdoor space, and it’s okay. The cylinder shape looks cool, and the infrared heating works well enough for keeping warm.
However, it doesn’t heat up as much as I hoped, even on the highest setting. The silent operation is nice, but the unit feels a bit flimsy. Also, the IP54 waterproof rating is reassuring, but the installation instructions were a bit unclear. Anddd it doesn’t include the battery you need to get it running but luckily I had one laying around.
It’s a decent heater, but it could use some improvements in heating power, durability and of course include the battery needed.

This is a great way to heat up a porch. I already have one similar to this for my garage and I am amazed how awesome they work. Instead of heating up the air in the area infrared heaters heat up surfaces. so you then get the radiant heat off of those surfaces. So if wind goes thru you still get a chill, but it only lasts while the gust goes past instead of taking the heat with it. I am not sur how well this will work up north, but for my FL winters where 30 degrees is among the coldest day 1500 watts of infrared heat that this puts off will keep my 16×12 deck nice warm and useable.
Materials wise it seems well constructed. The metal finish is uniform and there are not scratches or imperfections out of the box. The light is not super bright, but its enough to provide a nice atmosphere light for a large porch, or as a spot over a table beneath it if being used in a commercial setting. It does feel like the metal is a bit thin but for hanging and keeping things light they should be nice.
