    Comes with
    *Keyboard
-Feature rich: Unlike a physical piano, a digital one has the capability to do alot more.
-Many connections: Headphone, External Speakers, USB to computers for apps, sustain pedal, pedal…headphone is great. Hearing piano practice can become monotonous.
-The features for me right now are overwhelming as my goal is just to play the piano. As things progress, I’ll probably play with some of the other features.
-The metronome will be useful to help me keep time.
-A little complicated to configure, but you get used to it.
-Would have been nice to have a screen to configure with.
*Power Adapter: Cord is bout 6 feet..
*Stand: Was a bit confusing putting together, but it was probably me. Supports the keyboard well and is adjustable to varying heights.
*Pedal: This is a sustain pedal. There is support for a 3 pedal (but it’s not included). This won’t be an issue for me right now, but will probably be in the future.
    *Keyboard Stickers: To label keys.
*Music Sheet Holder – snaps right on and a good size.
    *Instructions for stand: Helpful.
*Instructions for keyboard: Good for understanding how to configure features (but not necessarily what each feature is).

For me, as a beginner, it’s great as it works as a piano out of the box. All the bells and whistles will come as I improve. What’s perfect is all the features are there and I won’t outgrow the keyboard.

It’s a nice piano but doesn’t sound great

Plays fine right out of the box. The extra features are difficult to apply. THe instructions are poorly written. If you want this to use as a regular piano-fine If you expect to use any of the fancy features forget it.

Starfavor 88 Key Piano Keyboard, Electric Digital Piano with Full Size 88-Keys, Easy-Setup is for beginners but I could see this on stage. I do not know how they were able to make this unit at this price. I really don’t know why anyone would ever buy and other low rage keyboard. I mean WOW!!

This Starfavor digital piano is a real, full-size keyboard with keys as large as those on our old upright piano. Playing it as a traditional piano is very easy: the default tone is that of a grand piano, and the sound is convincingly like the real thing. The default touch feels about right to me, but like so much else on this electronic piano, it’s adjustable for those used to a heavier or lighter touch. And the piano is ready to play straight from the box: plug in the power supply and the included “sustain” pedal, and it’s set.

Only the folding stand needs assembly: the 8 bolts are a bit hard to align, but it’s a remarkably solid stand once put together, and adjustable in height even for a standing player. With the stand folded and the keyboard stored on end, the entire piano takes little more room to store than an ironing board.

There are a staggering number of voice choices on this piano, from the default grand piano sound to those of a xylophone, a church organ, any number of guitars, even synth effects like birdsong or gunshot — 127 of them in all. Rhythm is almost equally variable, with 82 choices. All are accessible using the “selection” key plus a piano key (set out in the directions), then the “function” key and a number entered through the piano keys when in the proper mode.

I found the directions for accessing those features very confusing, though clearly written: my major confusion was that some directions refer to the traditional designation of a piano key, others to the code designation of the key. (Note the two lines above the keyboard illustration in the photo.) The key referred to as C6 is indeed C6 when playing, but it’s “c superscript 3” when accessing the electronic features. Traditional C7 is referred to in the electronic setting as “c superscript 4,” even more confusing. Once that’s understood, the features are easily accessed and turned on and off. (Though I’d recommend scanning the manual and keeping a digital copy where you can find it: I’d have an awful time remembering those sequences without a cheat sheet.)

This will be used primarily by a grandson who’s been studying piano and when visiting at our house has been getting by with an old upright piano I tune as best I can. This one will always be in tune, is adjustable in volume, and has a headphone jack to keep the sound confined during practice. I’ll also leave to him any use of the recording, syncing, and other electronic features he’ll find useful and for which I have little need or use, but which would no doubt be essential for anyone wanting to compose and share music.

A full-size electronic piano with a great sound, one that takes up little storage space, and one that should be great for anyone from those learning to play to those venturing into electronic music.

Purchased this keyboard in retirement to relearn my lessons from youth. I wanted it mainly as a piano, 88 full size keys and sustain pedal, and I wasn’t too interested in all the bells and whistles that some of the others had. So when I read that the other reviewers complained about the complicated function and selection buttons, I overlooked it. As I’ve only had it a week, I can only say that so far it works well. Haven’t really tried the different selections and functions myself, but it does seems very complicated, as others have previously noted.
The piano sound seems better in the center keys, and less so at both ends. And although the weighted keys seem a bit stiffer than my old piano, I think I can get used to it quickly. The 3-pedals are a nice plus, and work well. It looks very nice and sleek, without too many buttons, and with the furniture stand, too! I also like that ports for headphones are in the front too. It’s not perfect, but for the money, it’s a winner!
