I used these for custom brackets for an unconventional use, they are super strong, heavy gauge steal, nice black finish, easy to cut through with a cut off wheel, like you’d need to, but I was customizing something. great brackets.

The dimension are as advertised. The fasteners that com with it are builders specials, I would consider using something better. I used them and the shelf pulled free some from drywall. I replaced them and it’s perfectly level. But they look good and are well built. Once different fasteners were used they support more than rated in advertised. Easy to mount when using level and function as advertised when proper fasteners are used.

Me and my girlfriend had too many books to keep on the ground, so I decided to build a bookshelf. I hand cut a nice peace of birch wood and made some wooden wall mounts. The shelf started to sag and I knew I needed to finish the project. The other week, I took it down, stained the wood an antique red and purchased these metal mounts. They installed perfectly and look amazing! they are very sturdy and hold the weight with no problem. The only problem I had was that during installation I made one hole a little too big and the plastic drywall mount was a little too small for it, so there is a wiggle to it. Other than that, I recommend this; it works very well. Just as advertised.

So simple to install and at the right height , you cannot see them. Just make sure you measure shelving and try to position end of bracket min two inches from edge of shelf and you get a really nice floating shelf look. Very strong. Seems like the will hold a good weight without issue

These aren’t perfectly square prior to installation, but they don’t appear off once mounted appropriately. I’m using four of these to hold a 4ft section of 2″ thick hard maple bench and they work great. The low profile allows me to keep them all hidden as if the bench is holding itself up! The other two brackets will be used for a floating shelf.
My one complaint is the screw holes are at an awkward distance apart and only one side of screws can be mounted into a stud, while the other side requires wall anchors.
