It feels nice to use but you have to air it out for 2 weeks for the strong rubber smell to go away. If you use it immediately then your desk will smell like rubber and so will anything that touches it. Other than that it is a good big mousepad

I have two of these Steelseries mousepads in different sizes. They are very hardy. I am on my computer many hours a day, for years, and the mousepad is still in good condition and not shedding. I’ve even thrown it in the washing machine (and then air dried it). I do dislike the large white Steelseries logo on the mousepad, as it doesn’t match my aesthetic, but I understand they need to advertise their product somehow, and it is a black mousepad.

I never really write reviews cuz I know my opinion is pretty worthless on here; unless a product is truly amazing. I bought this back in 2019 as a teenager for my first mousepad, and it has held up through 5 years of abuse and gosh knows what food, drink, and other messes I’ve made on it. Still, it’s physically perfect, it’s just dirty and I’m too lazy to clean it so I’m buying a 2nd one. Never had any issues with tracking or anything else, and it acts as a palm wrest (the thick version) and it’s genuinely so comfortable. I’ve tried using other mousepads and they’re comparable, but this one is truly the best and I’ve had my coworkers (i work in IT) compliment it heavily at our LAN parties. GO WITH THIS MOUSEPAD PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE.

With all the reviews and feedback for this particular SteelSeries Pad, I am astonished by the precision and control of this pad and guess what it is super comfy because of its thickness. Does not fold at the corners and lies flat on my table without any bends. I can comfortably rest my elbows and and hands on it too if needed. Fantastic Pad! Highly recommended.
