La batería es muy buena, el detalle del que ya había visto en otras reseñas es que la olla más pequeña no la detecta la estufa de inducción ni el sartén para huevo, aunque de ese artículo si viene la advertencia en la descripción, y no vienen caja de tfal venía en una caja de cartón normal, me dio desconfianza pero al final no la devolví y a salido muy buena

I absolutely love this. Why didn’t I do this sooner. Excellent quality.

A recent induction stovetop forced me to replace all my aluminum TFAL (and other) stovetop cookware. I bought this set, as I liked my prior TFAL set. The problem is when I used the cute little frypan that I thought was perfect for one egg. Initially, I thought I had it on the wrong burner. Then another burner didn’t work. Maybe it’s too small for my burner, I thought. Then I tried seeing if it would attract a magnet, which all induction-usable pots and pans do. Nope. Why TFAL would sell a set that every piece except one works on an induction system is a mystery to me. My other stuff in the set works fine, but I feel a little ripped off like TFAL wanted to list a certain amount of pieces even if they weren’t really equally useful. Now what the heck do I do with this cute but useless little pan from the set (other than give other induction cooktop owners a heads up)? C’mon, TFAL, you can do better (and usually do).

This review is for the T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Dishwasher Safe Nonstick Cookware Set, 12-Piece, Red.

I had not upgraded my pots and pans in quite awhile, so it was with great satisfaction that I now have this set. Definitely good quality and saved me a bundle over an Anolon set I was considering. This was also the only set I was able to find that had the exact number and type of pots and pans I was replacing. I was willing to try different set configurations, but only if they at least included a 1, 2, and 4 quart pot, a Dutch oven, and 2 frying pans, with lids for most or all of the pieces. (All the pots have lids and one of the pot lids fits the smaller fry pan, but the large fry pan is not so lucky.)

After reading the reviews I had some trepidation, but I’ve been completely satisfied with my purchase. My set was clearly brand new, clean, and not damaged. I have not used them for long, but I just made an omelette with zero oil and it was amazing how fast it cooked and how it slid right out of the pan like a TV commercial. Very even cooking, something reviews on some other site(s) dinged this set for. The “T-spot” kind of worked; probably more gimmicky than useful long-term, but we’ll see.

Some tips to avoid some of the problems others have reported:

1. Never heat a pan or cook anything on high. You won’t need to anyway, as the pans heat up so fast.
2. Follow included instructions for seasoning pans, something you may not think of doing for non-stick pans.
3. Never wash non-stick pans in the dishwasher, no matter what any manufacturer says.
4. Ditto on not using metal utensils–it’s just begging to chip the teflon-like coating.
5. Allow pans to cool before washing to avoid warping.
6. Don’t assume shoddy manufacturing if your pan gets dented after dropping from several feet onto a hard floor. AKA, use common sense.
7. Use some sort of protective pads between pans when storing. Some of the cardboard packaging it comes with is useful in this regard.

Update 6/22/21:

The last 3 pics are of my most used pan in the set. Notice that there is NO flaking or chipping of the teflon and the bottom is not badly darkened. Another reviewer showed their discolored and warped pan–which was clearly used on too high of a heat setting and/or cleaned when the pan was still hot. As mentioned previously, not going above medium-high heat, not putting pans in the dishwasher, waiting to clean until cool and lightly seasoning inside pan with oil occasionally has kept my set looking good and performing as well as the first day.

This is not my first non-stick cookware. I know how to ruin them, so the advice I offered (which comes from the manufacturer, BTW) is solid. This set is still a good buy–and an even better one with Prime Day Deal.

I’ve had these pans and skillets since January and have used them nearly every day since receiving them. They are truly non-stick and so easy to clean. They have not warped and none of the lids have cracked (like some reviews have stated). They are lightweight which concerned me upon receiving them but I have very much appreciated that quality now because it does not bother me to lift and transfer to the table or sink. I really love this set. Each piece washes so easily and never has any food left sticking to it. Makes doing dishes so much easier and quicker.
I would highly recommend that you season each pot when you first receive them by oiling each one and letting sit overnight before wiping down and storing. Additionally, I purchased felt separators to put in between each pan when stacking so they will stay in pristine condition for many years.
I highly recommend purchasing these TFal pans. I would buy again if the time comes (hopefully in many years from now). 🙂
