Pros: vivid colors with easy synchronization with your streaming apps. Easy to use.
Cons: sound quality could be better as it is slightly muted. Many have complained about the brightness of the power light when the unit is off. It is very disturbing at night if you use this in a bedroom. But I found a simple fix with the use of painters tape. This tape removes easily, and is dark enough to mute the bright light. It does not inhibit the function of the sensor.
And this TV does not have analog connections for older model DVD players

This TV is perfect for what I wanted. I wanted to get a fire TV because it included the amazon app store, which is incredible. All the streaming apps I need are included in this store. I originally got the 24″ Insignia TV, but I found it just a little small from the distance I had to place it, about 8 feet away. It, as well as this TV were wall mounted at the only place I could put it. The Insignia TV was also a great TV, so I decided to give it to my nephew’s kids instead of returning it. This 32″ TV was perfect, just as easy to setup, with the same excellent qualities. Now I can read everything on the screen. Picture/excellent, Sound/very good, ease of use/excellent, plus navigation and the remote are also excellent. Price is also phenomenal and I got it the next day at no charge because I also have Amazon prime video.

Decent picture quality with lots of customizable options but, as with most HD flatscreens, sound quality is tinny..
BUT
This unit has bluetooth connectivity and if you watch with wireless earbuds or headphones then it sounds F A N T A S T I C.
Interface is solid and intuitive.
Please note: Stand pictured here is not the one the tv set comes with. I purchased a different VESA stand so the flatscreen set would fit solid on top of my wall unit.

I just got done setting it up and I’m loving this TV.
I bought and returned 2 different tvs from a store because both were disappointing and not what I was looking for. I decided I wanted a Fire TV, so I bought this one. After setting it up and watching a few minutes of several channels, I knew that I would be fully satisfied with my purchase. I only had to download 1 app, because this TV had all the other apps that I use frequently. I love that I can search for apps and download them, since this option was at the top of my list of “must have.”
I also attached my antenna and this TV found 15+ more channels than my old TV had! I love that I can either watch antenna TV or Fire TV for free. So much to watch, so little time.
The visual picture is pretty amazing and worth the extra cost for higher quality viewing.
Another thing that I absolutely needed was for the TV is to start on the app screen and not a TV channel. This TV does exactly that. I watch more apps than I do live TV. I usually only watch live TV during Severe Weather season.
Buy this TV if these are what you are looking for as well. You won’t be disappointed!

This TV is affordable and has a great picture quality for the price. However, there are two main issues that bring this down to a 3-star review. The first is the sound quality. The speaker is in the back of the tv, so you end up hearing things after it’s bounced off the wall. Secondly, the tv is just slow. Once you get to your media, it works great. But there is a noticeable lag when selecting something on the home page, for example.
Overall, it’s fine but it’s probably worth the extra $50 to get a better set.
