Both my wife and I work out and wanted to give the cold plunge a go. super easy to install and more spacious than we thought. isolation seems very good as it is 31c currently and while it is not in direct sunlight the water inside feels cold even before adding the ice. bottom line – extremely satisfied

I love this thing. worth every penny.
Been doing it a week straight and have already noticed a huge decrease in some knee pain and overall soreness from working out and being active.
The quality is great, the bottom seems padded or cushioned, and is comfortable to sit in. I’m 5’8 and have plenty of space. I like to submerge my head and work on hold my breath. I found it helps you focus on something other than the cold. I also specifically bought it for the lid and the marketing of “change it every four weeks”
I also bought a electric thermometer and its kept the water in the 61-63 degree range.
I used ice cold water and three bags of ice when i first fille dit up. I could add more ice to get it colder but i haven’t. I also live in Colorado and it’s been a rainy few weeks. and my patio is covered and faces north/ little sun exposure.
My only complaint is that I’ve recommended this product to a bunch of people and it seems to be unavailable! Great product and I wish more could invest in the company and support them.

I received my Cold Pod in record time from my friendly Amazon driver and was excited to get it set up.
The pod comes neatly in a handy bag with a small manual pump to inflate the upper ring of the pod. This beauty is super simple and quick to set up(instructions included for those who may need them).
11 minutes to fill, add a block of ice, get in and feel the benefits. I had my first go(10 minutes), an hour before bed and it was the best night’s sleep I’ve had for a long long time. I have used the pod every day for a week and I’m not feeling sluggish, I feel more pro-active and niggling aches are disappearing.

We were very pleased with this item until recently. It’s a good size and holds water as it should. It isn’t insulated, so it’s no surprise that it doesn’t keep the water cold in the summer.
Where it became a disappointment is when a seam in the inflatable section came undone and no longer holds air. As a result, when my husband sits in the tub, all the water starts spilling over the edge. By the time his 5 minutes is up, half the water is gone. So it’s wasting a lot of water (which we are billed for in our neighborhood) and he isn’t getting a good soak.
I didn’t think this would last forever. I did hope it would last a lot longer than 5 months.

The unit seems well made. I’ve had it for about two weeks now. The insulation is very minimal at best. I hooked up an 1/4 hp ecoplus aquarium chiller on day one and it worked well while the temps were up to the high 70s. Now that it’s in the low 80s, there’s not enough for the chiller to keep up. The water is being turned over 5-6x so the pump is strong enough. Due to the lack of insulation, you would need a very large chiller. I’m going to try some mods, but may have to return it and drop the cash on a more expensive unit with true insulation instead of buying 1 hp chiller. Why spend $1500 on a chiller for a sub $100 tub? I’ll spend that on the tub.

We purchased this back in December. We have used it every single day since. We live in the north so it’s rather cold! Despite the air being cold and the water sometimes getting a thin layer of ice…we do it every day. Why? Because of noticeable changes. My joint pain has improved, sleep has improved…and it’s just an amazing way to start my day. I will say, I didn’t feel different upfront, but after 3-4 weeks I felt the changes. It’s very sturdy. It’s easy to clean and drain. No problems with leaks, but we don’t drag it all over. One spot. Love it.

I’ve been thinking about getting one of these, as several of my friends have them and it’s clear how much they’ve benefitted from it, so I ‘took the plunge’ and made my purchase.
When I first saw the box The Cold Pod was delivered in, I thought that there is no way it could possibly be big enough, but………hold on!!
I took it out of the box and this is what I discovered.
It was so easy to put together – it took just a few minutes.
I immediately got into it and even though I’m 6ft ( 183cms) tall, I could see that I could easily use this – and I wouldn’t be using too much water either!! This was totally doable!
It’s such a clever design and well within the budget of most people and it has excellent social media support.
This is a UK company which is always a bonus, though, like most things these days, it’s made in China. I imagine that if it was manufactured in England it would be twice the price!!
A couple of the features I like are the easy drain system and the clever lid to help keep the water clean and cold.
It looks pretty cool, too! ( pun intended!)
For the last few years I have lived with M.E. / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and have researched everything I can about the condition, so that I can live as normal a life as possible. I’ve been investigating the benefits of cold therapy and I am excited to experience the effects.
Knowing how much friends are now experiencing a greater sense of well-being using The Cold Pod, I can’t wait to report back on the benefits, which I will do probably in a couple of months.
I used to live near the sea and it was easy to go to the beach and take a cold plunge there, but I no longer have that advantage, so this is going to be the best alternative I can think of.

I bought the Cold Pod for $159 and it was defective right out of the box. The valve leaked. Ibwas unable to return it because it was a gift and was opened past the 30 day return requirement. I foolishly ordered the more expensive ($500) robust design for my second order. Guess what…leaked immediately. This is unacceptable for what they charge. Avoid this company at all costs. Pure trash.

Absolutely love my cold pod ice bath. Took me 5 minutes to set up easy instructions and the pump that comes with it to blow the inflatable ring at the too which is a great addition when it comes to set up. The handy carry bag it comes in when you first get it out of the box is so small I wondered how big the actual tub would be but once I got it out and set up I quickly realised the tub is massive and can easily fit in and dunk my full body no trouble. Very happy with it and when it’s packed down in to the carry case it’s nice and compact and I can take it anywhere.
Cannot wait to keep using it and learn more about the benefits. I’ve been training hard lately and getting straight in to this after a hard run or ride helps me to feel refreshed and relaxed. Highly recommend the cold pod.
Oh and FYI the thermal cover is nice and light and easy to put on once you’re done. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed

We’ve had this for a couple months now and use it regularly. It was easy to assemble and the size is perfect. So far we have not had any leaks. The bottom does get VERY slippery if it’s not drained and cleaned regularly. Other than that it’s great!

Owned my plunge pod for a few months now and use it most days. I chose this one as its a UK based company and frankly did’nt want 2 months for it to arrive. This was literally next day delievery which was a bonus.
Easy to fill up, drain and clean. Usually change the water every week as it does get abit grimey after a while.
Suprisingly roomy, i am 6ft 2 and the water, when full is up to my neck.
Great bit of kit, easy to assemble and use.
The only downsides are the fact it doesnt stay that cold when hot outside. Once filled up its usually around the 14 degree mark, once the suns been on it for a day it creeps up to around 20 degrees, so not really a cold pod. But in the cooler weather, it works as it should. Could maybe do with a extra thermo lid like other conpanies use?

I got this for my son for Xmas. It’s such a great sz. Very easy to drain and assemble. We have it tucked into a corner of patio and it works out great! Very sturdy!
