Muy silenciosa, bonito diseño de cables y hace su trabajo muy bien…solo acomodar bien lo que no se use.

This is the perfect power supply to buy if you are on a budget and aren’t putting the latest and greatest CPUs and GPUs into your PC. However, despite it being only 550W, it will still power some of the most demanding last gen systems without breaking a sweat.
For my use, I got this to finish up a backup gaming computer that I was working on and the parts used are still very powerful for what they are. The main specs of the PC that I used this power supply to power was an MSI B550 Gaming Plus Motherboard, a Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB 3200Mhz DDR4 Corsair Vengeance RAM, a 1TB WD SN570 NVMe Drive, and most importantly; an RTX 3070 Ti Graphics Card. This power supply not only came with all the connections I needed, but it also came with 4 large zip-ties for cable organization, 4 mounting screws, and the wall power cable.
Installation was really simple, and since the SATA and Molex cables were flat cables, I was easily able to fold them down, tie them up and tuck them out of the way when doing my cable management. The power supply only comes with a single 8-pin CPU power cable as well as a single 2×6+2 PCIe Cable (two 8 pin connectors), but I was fully able to power and use my entire system without any issues.
While some of you may want more power for overclocking, this power supply will work just fine for most systems. While my setup may be pushing the capabilities of this power supply a little bit, I have no concerns about it powering off, catching fire, or anything like that. It has been incredibly reliable, and I have been able to do video rendering, intense gaming, and other resource heavy tasks all without any issues from the power supply.
Overall, if you need a reliable power supply to use on most older generation hardware, then this is the perfect value option to buy without burning a hole in your wallet. I highly recommend it.

Great power supply, the noise level is quiet and easy to install. Got it on sale for $39.99,So far no issues.

La verdad es una fuente de poder excelente, la construcción, el empaque, el largo de los cables y la forma que tienen, además de la capacidad la hacen una muy buena opción a considerar si quieres variar de las marcas de siempre.
J. Rudy –
So far so good for a few days. Very quiet power source that provides what is needed. Make sure you do your research on the amount of power required for your build before purchasing.
Zachary –
Very well made from a reputable brand and is able to consistently push out power without any faults or failure.

Thermaltake has never been the most well renowned or beloved brand in power supplies in my eyes, but I stuck this thing in an old case along with fresh new motherboard and a Ryzen 5600G, and had no problems. No fancy modular cabling or RGB, but a good amount of connectors in case you want to attach a bunch of SATA drives or add a mid range video card. Just a matter of how long it’ll hold up in the long run.

this psu is a great for having a budget! works with the gigabyte rx570 4 gb gaming

I just replaced an EVGA Gold 500 GD with this and is working more silent and no more random reboots. Cheaper is a plus.

I have used a few other Thermaltake PSU and none of them have given issues outside their usage parameters. I picked this up as one of the least expensive units I felt confident would not start a house fire on a “retro” PC build for which the power requirements of the system are barely a portion of this units rating. It came with the proper cabling for the build and has worked out, at least within its short use period, to be a workable and inexpensive replacement for that systems failed power supply.
I would suggest to anyone buying this for a system to pay attention to your (cable) connection needs in regard to this unit. Many newer motherboards may require more CPU power connections and PCI (GPU) power is older midrange at best. It isn’t an issue of being a “bad” unit due to this but users purchasing this without paying attention to the supplied connectors might find themselves short.
I would absolutely recommend using this with standard office builds or low(perhaps) mid gaming systems on a budget with the above-mentioned shortcomings in mind.

Works well, and is way better Han the 430w 80+ white units
