It was difficult to find the rack model to ensure compatibility, but it worked out. I have a single rubber track, so the T slot won’t work as designed. I used the alternative method with the latch.
Everything is stable and going well. A Celericycles eBike is secured on the rack.

As the owner of a bike with disc brakes,
and a car without a trailer hitch (Volvo XC90)
The THULE roof rack setup was a no brainier
Its the Cadillac (or Volvo?) of roof racks.
Super high quality, beautiful design, and works great with existing racks.
Keep in mind, that with this rack, you detach your front wheel, attach it to this rack, and THEN attach the whole apparatus to an existing cross bar roof rack.
I didnt quite understand, as my car had side rails, but not the cross bars that are shown,
and those are very much not included and come at a hefty price tag.
If you have an existing cross bar Thule system, this bike rack addition is a no-brainer
If you’re coming in fresh, be ready to spend a pretty penny for this top notch quality.

Works very well. You can literally shake the car by shaking the bike on top of the car. The fork mounted bolt clicks once you have the correct tightness which is a great feature. Easy to put on and no worries at all about its strength in holding the bike.

This model has a built-in front axle that makes it easier to put your bike on the car and go. The axle part must be tightened, but it does have a built-in torque wrench and will “click” when you have it tight enough. This is much easier than the other Thule model where the axle is a separate piece that you must put on your bike, then put on the roof rack. When you remove your bike, you then have to take that part off and risk misplacing it or getting your hands dirty if you have been riding in muddy conditions.
