The carb works okay. The choke thermostat spring needed to be bent a little to hook the choke arm, before the spring slipped off and left the butterfly open. I haven’t gotten the fuel/air right yet, but that may be an issue on my end.

Surprisingly good quality. I bought it for a ’64 Rambler with the 196 engine, a much smaller engine that this carb was meant for, yet the mixture was very close right out of the box. As I expected I had to remove the Ford throttle linkage & braze on the Rambler linkage. Car runs great now.
