Goede lichte wandelschoen. Op sneeuw niet zo heel veel grip.
Perfect voor gewone wandelingen. Vallen (heel) klein.

Iโve been wearing this same boot for at least 10 years. They are very comfortable and rugged. Probably be wearing them for another 10. Each pair has lasted at least a year of almost every day wear. When they start looking a little too old for work the. I get a new pair. Good fit, good traction and warm in the winter. Every pair feels exactly the same instead of some brands where they seem to change them all the time.

I absolutely love these boots!!! This makes my 3rd pair and I will continue to buy these for as long as I am able. It sucks having to throw away a perfectly good pair every year because the tread wears off but that is a compromise I can live with. The comfort, durability and waterproofness are 2nd to none. I work outside and use these for work and my personal life. I get over a year out of them before I start slipping going up/down hills at which point I buy a new pair. I have bad ankles from one being broken at a young age and the other messed up in a car accident and these give me all the support I need and more comfort than I expected in a cheap boot. Can’t recommend enough!!!

This is, I think, my fifth pair of White Ledge Hikers. I do a lot of walking: a few miles back and forth to my work each day partly on a dirt path and partly on roads, plus many more miles on and off trail, often times in steep and rocky terrain and in snow. They fit my wide feet well and the laces adjust well for one lighter pair of socks when it’s warm as well as for a liner sock plus heavy sock when it’s cold. These are my go-to hikers so long as temperatures are in the teens (fahrenheit) or higher.
The soles are fairly soft with a good tread. They grip well on rocks and steep slopes but also wear relatively quickly. The light weight is especially nice on longer backpacking trips. The waterproof feature seems to last only a year or so. Once the soles are worn and the boots no longer waterproof, I wear them for tamer walks and for yard work etc.
I have tried far more expensive boots over the years but they often don’t fit well, the soles wear just as quickly, and they don’t stay waterproof either. White Ledge hikers are a good value.

These boots are comfortable. They fit nicely and feel good under foot. The insoles aren’t the best but can be switched out easily if needed. Another plus is that they look pretty nice. I currently have the black ones. I used to have wheat ones but I sadly left them in a hotel room on a business trip. I liked the wheat better, but bought black replacements because I didn’t have any black boots and wanted a little variety. They do a nice job keeping my feet warm when it’s cold. That isn’t to say that they aren’t good to wear in warm weather too, but they are especially nice in the cold. They are very nice to walk in, wearing more like a sneaker than other boots I own and wear regularly (Thorogood, Irish Setter, Rockrooster, etc). I find that when I’m going for a casual walk or a short hike, these are the shoes I most often reach for. The outsole is sturdy enough with a good lug pattern that digs in nicely to whatever terrain you find yourself trudging through.
There are a couple of things I don’t like. First, the outsole is cemented on rather than welted so once the sole is worn out they are pretty much trash. However they do seem to be cemented well as the sole really holds on well. Still, cemented construction isn’t my favorite but that’s not the end of the world at this price point. The leather quality seems okay, but definitely not anything amazing. Still, there is a good amount of leather on these boots and for the money it’s better than most.
All in all, I am rating these as 5 star boots. To qualify, I am not comparing them to my Thorogood boots or Irish Setter boots. They are in a different category altogether for me. I’m putting them up against tennis shoes and mid range hiking boots. They are very good in that space. They are similar and on par with some Keens and Ariats I have worn in the past, but are a little less expensive. I’d say they are easily worth the $80 to $100 most people will pay but I wouldn’t pay much more than that. They have the feel of a $100 to $120 boot so for less than $100 they are a pretty good value.
I would certainly buy these again but next time I’m going back to the wheat color because I did prefer those. The Nubuck leather they are made with seems to be a little higher quality too.

As I was told to try these out by a UPS driver he was absolutely correct. There are light tough and fit perfectly right out of the box. Amazingly comfortable and rugged. For this price that’s amazing.
