This heater is a little confusing. You can’t control the speed of the fan but there are two heat levels to select from, as well as a “fan” setting. Not sure I need a fan (no heat) setting out of a heater.
Mine blows cold air on one side. Not sure if there is a part of the coil that was damaged or something else, but on any setting, cold air comes out of the very left side.

While I do not have a green house I have had a need for a little heater trailer and from time to time for a room in my house when I didn’t want to turn up the heat for the whole house but wanted more heat in the room I was in. This little heater will work well
Pros:
1. nice small compact design
2. well made and easy to use
3. puts out a lot of heat and turns off when it get to the set point. I don’t know what it is rated for but I would say it will heat my 12×15 room with out a problem
cons:
1. I really didn’t find anything I didn’t like about it maybe having the temperature setting with actual degrees on it instead of just more or less would be nice but really not necessary

This heater by TRUSTECH is you old school heater with more efficient heating technology. TRUSTECH uses just one acronym which is PTC.
PTC stands for Positive Temperature Coefficient. It’s a technology used to generate heat. PTC heaters use conductors made of variable resistor materials. When electricity passes through these conductors, they create resistance, become hot, and generate heat in the surrounding area. The more electricity that is passed through them, the hotter they get. This is the same technology being employed in many Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV’s) today. PTC heaters are very efficient at generating heat as they consume very little energy when compared to traditional heaters. Another great thing about PTC heaters is the “ptc effect”. Because PTC heaters generate heat in the surrounding area, they never reach temperatures high enough to cause combustion or fires making them not only efficient, but very safe as well.
I also want to point out the that this little unit is a power hog. Wait, whut? Didn’t you just say it’s energy efficient? Well yes, but it’s not the heating that’s consuming the power, it’s the blower motor or fan. This unit advertises 1500W. Wattage is a unit of power in terms of energy consumption, not potency of efficacy. Volts × Amps = Watts. There are three fan settings on this unit, and between power the PTC heater and the fan, it can consume 750W (low fan) or 1500W (high fan). The fan is rated for 120V which is the voltage of wall receptacles in North America. Doing the math 1500W ÷ 120V = 12.5A. Most wall receptacles are rated at 15A, so if you’re using this, make sure you don’t have some other power hungry device plugged into the same wall receptacle otherwise you’re trip the circuit breaker.
Aside from the three fan settings, there is also a gradient heat dial. The dial doesn’t really indicate temperature, and I wish that they did, but the amount of heat is continuously variable, so you can tweak it in small increments.
The power cord is NOT grounded and only measures 6 ½ feet in length. This is quite short in my opinion, especially if you do plan on using it in a greenhouse. The cord is also loose, and they could have built a cord wrap into the unit for tidy storage. Speaking of storage, the unit also doesn’t come with any type of storage case or storage bag.
Functionally, the unit is very effective at what it does. It does heat up quickly and I love the 90° tilt. The “analog” dials make this unit “old school”, and many may prefer it as there’s no worry about faulty software or burnt out displays. The short cord and the lack of temperature reference is the biggest drawbacks of this unit, but it takes nothing away from it’s simplicity and functionality.

This heater is kicking out some serious heat! It’s almost too hot. But I mean that in a good way. You put this little bugger in a room and it will heat it up no joke I was simply amazed by power. It’s so compact, but it really packs a serious punch. So much better than previous heaters I’ve purchased. The quality of everything else may have gone down, but the quality of these heaters is going up. You will not be disappointed by this. If I could’ve given it six stars, I would have.
