Although new insoles where needed to insure personal comfort and support, under armour had taken the cake when it comes to quality made tactical boots that are made well enough to last a long time but are made of a light enough material that they don’t fatigue your legs or feet especially in big men who normally have extra wide feet like my self and don’t normally find comfort in tac boots.

1st…these puppies are wide as heck. 2nd. They are not water proof. 3rd.they bend and stay creased easily. 4th. A bit pricey for a boot with no zippers.

I have wide feet and semi high arches. These boots have been the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. I walk about 9 miles a day carrying about 30 pounds of gear. No foot pain, knee or back pain. Worth the money.

I’ve been blowing through the Valdez style every other month and decided to try these. Are they as cushioned – no but they don’t squeak, come in X-Wide, and have vibram soles. I will be back to update because I walk 5-10 miles, five days a week, indoors and out. I also put DaCat insoles in because I have a fractured 5th metatarsal, it helps with foot pain and discomfort.
