True to size.
The more I wear them as they break in, the more comfortable they’ve become.
Easy on/Easy off with the zipper, they have a nice loop at the back for pulling them on and a loop at the top of the tongue, which is nice to get the tongue where you want it.
Overall, very pleasred…

Wore these boots to work in almost every day for over a year. Super comfortable. Great support. I’m buying again for a reason.

I’ve worn these for work boots for 7 months and they are easily the most comfortable ones I have ever owned. They fit like a pair of sneakers and you can walk in them that way.
While the upper half is in almost like-new condition (the side zippers work fine), the bottoms of the soles have pretty much worn smooth and the sides have started to self-destruct. (the shoelaces are almost impossible to keep tied together, but swapping them out is not a problem).
When they are intact, I’d give them a 5, but their overall build quality prevents that.

I absolutely love these boots. These are my 3rd pair of UA Micro G Valsetz, but the first pair I’ve had with the side zip. They are very comfortable, and lightweight like a tennis shoe. The only complaint I had with my other pairs was that the laces would break over time from daily wear and tying/untying them. These are great because I can leave them tied and unzip them to take them off. Makes it fast when I have to leave the house in a hurry for a work call

I like these shoes, but I don’t LOVE them. These are like a 4.3 out of 5, but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. Things I like:
– High ankle support (I roll my ankles CONSTANTLY. These halp a lot)
– Very light weight. Most high ankle boots are heavy, these aren’t much heavier than my old standard height boots which don’t provide the over-ankle support.
– Side zipper…you gotta get it!
– Breathable.
Things I don’t like:
– Zero water resistance. I’ve had waterproof boots that are just as breathable, so it can be done.
– LOUD! These would not be good for hunting, hiking with someone who has misophonia, or ninja patrols…EDIT: quieted out after I threw them in the wash due to poison oak contamination.
