Received as described, new, well packaged, fast, i connected it to my smartphone and was recognized immediately. Can’t say about the speed, didn’t check that. I just need about 20 to 30 to drive vpn and team for work in case of home internet or power failure. Well built, nice look. Easy to carry.

Every time I buy a new computer they take away ports. The new Lenovo does not have an ethernet port and only 2 USB ports. This is a $1200 computer. My old HP Pavilion has 4 USB ports, an ethernet port, HMD port AND a DVD player. But it is now obsolete because it won’t support Windows 11. This adapted uses the C port and works perfectly. It does get very hot but, so far, hasn’t exploded. I would buy it again.

Purchased these for the Amazon CUBE FireTVs but found they have micro USB connections. I just got an adapter and these work a lot better than the 10/100 that they come with. The Cube Firetv WiFi will work better but I found if you use a recast, seems to hiccup a bit while watching OVA. These increase the Ethernet speeds to the USB bus of around 350. No hiccups!! Someday Amazon will make a 1 gig port on their FireTVs. Until then… These work fine but look at the port. These are C connectors. Cubes use the mini connectors. Always remember the bus speed of your device before buying to make sure they will help your situation.

This adapter is truly plug and play. No drivers needed and it performs well. I have no complaints. I love that it has a USB-C PD port so that the adapter itself won’t consume my USB-C ports on my PC. I wasn’t able to test if it reaches full gigabit speed as my laptop’s LAN and Wi-Fi performance is not up to par for some reason. But I do not blame the adapter for this, as Wi-Fi is also at subpar speed. Must be the laptop’s internal network card. I highly recommend this adapter!
