Vagabond House Glass Carafe with Rattan Cover

One hundred and sixty American dollars’ worth of glass shards. That’s it. That’s what’s on offer here. It was overpriced to start with, and if this is what’s going to arrive, it’s worse than highway robbery.

As always, when problems like this arise, I give the seller the opportunity to step in. My experience has given me no reason to add stars, and I’d drop them if I could.

This is my favorite piece from the entire set! Its classy boho style gives beach house vibes and is a wonderful addition to any party or home decor, especially if you appreciate matching home goods. The pewter orchid detail adds a signature yet elegant look, making it versatile for special occasions and everyday use. This pitcher reminds me of a magical summer’s day from years gone by when I was back drinking ice-cold lemonade on the porch with my cousins. While the glass feels sturdy enough for regular washing, it still seems quite thin. However, the hand-woven rattan material wrapped securely around the pitcher adds sturdiness and provides a heftier base, reducing the risk of tipping. Its generous size is perfect for entertaining guests both on the patio and indoors. What truly sets it apart is the pitcher’s versatility for hot and cold beverages – and the rattan cover is INSULATED. While it won’t keep drinks hot or cold for hours and hours, it does perform well enough for regular use. Plus, the pitcher is dishwasher-safe, adding to its convenience. LOVE.

This pitcher arrived shattered twice. I really love the other items I’ve purchased from this brand and set. But the glass pitcher has too much room to bounce around in the box. Just tissue paper and a thin layer of bubble wrap. So disappointing because I purchased the glasses, and ice bucket as well… which came in perfect condition.

The Coastal rattan pitcher is hand-woven and features a beautiful pewter anchor. The rattan is of exceptional quality and looks very luxurious. The glass pitcher is made of high-quality glass, not a thin glass pitcher. I love that this rattan woven pitcher is unique compared to the Serena and Lily rattan pitchers by having this heavy pewtered anchor. The anchor is a really nice pewter and adds adorable charm to the coastal-themed pitcher. I love how it also has a cute strap to attach the rattan together. Rattan pitchers are currently very popular within Coastal brands. You are paying more for the quality of materials. It reminds me of something you would find in a Ralph Lauren store. It’s a special tray that can be used for various purposes, such as holding flowers and or flavored water, lemonade, or tea. I loved this pitcher so much that I ordered additional pieces to go with it. It’s worth the splurge.
