I’ve tried Rotella T6 5W40 besides this Valvoline 10W30 and the Valvoline offers better MPGs. This Valvoline also offers less emissions smell and the engine operates smoother. My truck has 33K miles and I’ll stick with the Valvoline Blue 10W30 which is what Cummins recommends for this engine along with Donaldson Oil Filters which are the very best you can get.

I gave 5 stars for value for money, but that’s because I bought the 3 pack before the price went up. I wouldn’t buy it now that the price increased. It’s good oil, but the Chevron Delo I had in my VW 4 banger before this oil lasted longer. This may have been because I had some Mystery Oil mixed in ? At any rate I’m using this stuff up but won’t buy again there’s better out there for this price point. Got a deal on Shell Rotella full synthetic Diesel oil, I’ll try that next and see how it stacks up.

Great purchase and value if you have a diesel especially a Cummins. First oil change was done with Shell Rotella T6, which gave me no issues. But I don’t drive my truck a lot so occasionally after sitting it would be a lil noisy on startup. With this oil my trick can sit for a month and have zero noise on startup which is great if you know anything about the noise some of these Cummins make or diesels in general. Performs great as I have no oil loss when conducting visual and mechanical checks of my truck. Like all oil changes it’s pretty straight forward and easy to utilize. Definitely will purchase again when needed.

What else can I say. This is this only oil recommended and endorsed by Cummins for use in their engines. This is the only oil I use for my 2013 6.7 with over 350k on it. The engine still runs like a champ. Each jug comes wrapped in plastic a bag. Highly recommend.
