Lovely soft cotton for warmer nights, well-crafted seams and finishing features (the piping, the pockets, the collar, the sleeve edges, the elastic on the waistband, etc.), and, 95-100% cotton, a do or die requirement for me. I chose a Petite size, and it fits me perfectly (I am 5 ft tall, 105 lbs). I ordered two sets of pajamas, the other being a cotton knit, a Small size, and it was a bit too big for me. These are wonderfully snuggly during these long, rainy nights, and again, cotton. I am a seamstress, so I re-hemmed the shirt, and then I replaced the ribbon in the waistband with pretty elastic to take up the excess inch. I also purchased the matching pattern leggings, a Petite size, and these fit me well. I love the fabric pattern.
