This review is not for the music, which is great. Just wanted to pass on the current description, 07/24, says the DVD won’t play on US players. While the disc does say pal on it, it is also region 0, or region free. Both the 5.1 audio and documentary played no problem on both my PS4 and Blu-ray player.

This is the best record of Depeche Mode and Ill tell you why, while maintaining its roots of electronic it touches to the rock part, but not as much as in “Songs of Faith and Devotion”, thats when they began to have a drummer, not here, here are the same band from music from the masses, with even more guitars than before, in 1990 an era when grunge was in its peak but also industrial and the birth of rave. This albums represents SO MUCH of this era that is stupid, World in my eyes , Sweetest Perfection , Personal Jesus , Halo , Waiting for the night, Enjoy the silence (it was my least favorite track cause all the fuzz, but it really is a flawless song) and POLICY OF TRUTH , this and world in my eyes may be the most Depeche M Mode track of the album giving a vibe with a beat similar to “strangelove” but even more catchy in the introm, and “world in my eyes” is an example of how Depeche Mode are evolving electronically, just because they added guitars doesnt mean they wornt have better synths, the synths on that song are incredible , and shows that depeche mode here is ready to compete with Industrial bands of this era like “Nine Inch Nails” or even “The Prodigy”, yeah sometimes Depeche Mode gets really heavy and dark. The vinyl arrived in great shape, I payed for fast shipping because I was waiting for this albums to be in stock for ages.
