Perfect for taming fine hair, the ionic dryer was very gentle on my hair and had just the right amount of selectable temp heat without the frizz. The unique button placement takes time to get used to – the magnetic nozzle attachment is super easy to use (love the magnet!). Noise level is surprisingly low for such efficient drying power, and it is very lightweight.

I really like this hair dryer. It does a great job drying my hair quickly and best of all it does a fantastic job of reducing the frizz and flyaways. The dryer I was using this was a high quality one but still left some flyaway hairs, but this one keeps my hair incredibly smooth. It’s also very quiet compared to other dryers. Not just a little quieter, but a lot.

It has three heat settings, hot, warm, and cool, plus one that goes back and forth between hot and cool. One thing I really appreciate is how quickly it cools when you use that setting. Some dryers take so long I start wondering if their cool setting is actually just warm. This one is cool within seconds. I’m not sure what the benefit is of going back and forth between hot and cool, but it doesn’t matter since every time I’ve tried to use that setting I get an error code and it shuts down. It says error code 2 but when I looked in the manual there wasn’t an error code 2. So that’s not great but I can still use it without that setting.

My main issue is the placement of the buttons. The handle has vent holes around the bottom couple inches, so you’re clearly meant to hold it above that, plus holding it at the bottom would be super awkward because of the weight balance. But the problem is that when you hold it in the “normal” place the button to change the temp is right there. I’ve rarely gotten through a drying session without changing the temp accidentally at least once, usually more. It’s really irritating because I have to stop and cycle through the various heats to get back to where I want, reposition my grip, and start again. Why would they put an easily pressed button right where it’s going to be held? Above that is the switch to select low/med/high air flow. Because it’s a switch and not a button it’s not getting changed accidentally. At the very least they should have switched these two so the easily pressed button is on top and further from where your hand will be holding it.

So because of those two issues, the mystery error code I always get on that one heat setting and the absolutely horrible placement of the heat selection button, I can’t give it 5 stars, but the performance of the dryer is absolutely 5 stars. It’s lightweight, works quickly, and looks nice. I also appreciate the attached cord wrap to keep it organized.

Sounds like an airplane, but in a good way. Creates A LOT of wind. You can choose between 3 temperatures and 3 speeds. It looks so nice and compact, but it’s a little heavy. Attachment is magnetic and stays on all the time. Speeds up drying time, reduces frizz and performs better than other types of blow driers out there. The filter can also be removed for cleaning which is a big plus. I’ve lost other hair driers because I couldn’t reach the filter.
