The product is fine, but I missed reading closely to see it is in a squeezable bag that can stand up with a somewhat rigid base rather than a true plastic bottle. It also doesn’t have a screw cap, but instead a self-sealing flap. If you are mostly concerned about avoiding environmental waste, this is the product for you. For me, I would rather have a standard squeeze bottle, rather than a squeezable bag. Just doesn’t feel secure enough for me or as easy to dispense the liquid in a more controlled quantity.

This review is for the ALL IN ONE ocean water melon scented shampoo. Being plant based initially captured my attention. The hype around lack of sulfates, phthalates, and formaldehyde, blah blah blah.. healthier planet packaging all sounds good, but what does it smell like. Well, it has a fresh clean smelling fragrance that isn’t too strong. It’s not a stinky floral odor, just a plain ole clean dog shampoo for bath time. It’s not like it’s chemical free, it has Glucoside, Glycerol, Glycerin and other words that start with G. Onto the packaging. The packaging is very different compared to the traditional cylindrical containers. It kinda looks like a trapezoid shaped plastic bag. You squeeze the bag (with some force) to get out the goods. If the bag falls over, the shampoo stays inside and doesn’t leak out. I wouldn’t pack the shampoo bag in a travel suitcase as something (like air pressure) is bound to squeeze out the contents. I guess that’s why the product description calls this “at home dog shampoo”. But even “at home”, there’s the possibility that the bag falls to the ground and is accidentally stepped on, in which case the goo is going to come out. So there’s that.. Although not directly called out in the product description, this shampoo contains Guar Conditioners (another G word). The shampoo itself is great. It made my dog smell nice and gave him a soft and shiny coat. However this is in a pouch that resembles a juice pouch. I would prefer a more stable and firm container for this and thats why i took one star away.

we finally got the opportunity to use this product on our Aussie. first of, the bottle is impressive, is like and inflatable plastic bottle that has a self-sealing slit, product will only come out if you squeeze it. very very cool.
as far as scent, very yummy. it didn’t leave my dog very perfumed but what it DID DO, was stopped the “wet dog smell” from every starting. no side effects other than a clean happy dog and dog parents. highly recommended

Using this was like bathing my dog with clarifying shampoo… it left her felling clean but not soft AT ALL. And usually her fur is snuggle material! Also the smell coming out of the bottle (that’s a loose description, it’s more like a shampoo bottle and a pool floaty love child… don’t ask me why, it didn’t seem to have any benefit during the bathing process) was very, very mild. Which means I could barely smell it. And my dog didn’t smell clean as much as she just.. didn’t smell gross. But considering she didn’t smell gross to begin with I’m not sure if the product really did anything for it. So if you have a stinker, don’t bother. The ONE quality I liked was the self-sealing top. It was nice to not have to worry about a cap or any spillage. I will keep it as a back up but I’m going back to Old Faithful— Mane n Tail. Maybe the other scents/styles are better but I’m not going to spend to find out.

The Wahl all in one dog shampoo smells really nice, has the most innovative container I’ve ever seen!
When you first get it, it has this tab across the top telling you to make sure to tear it open instead of cutting it. Tearing it makes these little ridges that help seal the opening. It’s self sealing! And the self sealing part actually works!
This bottle got knocked into the bathtub, dropped on the floor at least once…you name it! If you’ve ever given two healthy, active dogs a bath, you know exactly what kind of dropping action I’m talking about. However, not one single drop of the shampoo spilled. Nada! Nothing until I squeezed the bottle to get it out.
The bottle/container is really hard to describe. It reminds me of a really thick bubble wrap. So, the whole thing is soft and flexible and easy to squeeze.
The shampoo was a little thick when it came to rinsing. I’m not going to hold it against this particular shampoo because that could’ve been my error – I might have used more than I should have getting used to it. I was squeezing it directly onto their coats.
I really like this dog shampoo! It’s affordable and very easy to use. The smell is absolutely lovely also. I hope this works out for you and your furbaby just as much!

I love wahl products, hands down. I use their blades, clippers and more while grooming. I got this cause I saw the self-sealing top to bring with me on house calls to really test how well that seal holds while in a bag after being opened… it failed, but I’d planned for this and had set it inside a bag where I could salvage all the shampoo that came out. While a great idea if not traveling with it, if you’re going to travel with this after opening place is a larger ziplock bag to keep the shampoo contained if yours has leakage too. I feel its more due to the pressure so I’m not fully faulting this design at all just cautioning to be aware as I may just have had a bad one. Great smell and lather.
