Richard L. –
This washburn classical guitar is awesome. There is a trust rod. Strings are not good enough. The gloss finished is superb. The sound is average.
IanR –
This guitar looks great and sounds great. Reminds me of a guitar I really liked in 1989. Everything on it works well.
Tim Kramer –
Very pleased, the guitar came a week earlier then the shipping date shown on the original date. The guitar is beautiful, and the sound is full, bright, and the tone is of a higher quality then the price I paid for it. Great deal.

A little more money than some of the cheaper guitars but worth it. There is a difference in quality that shows. Very attractive overall look that students love and plays well for a student model.

After trying several used guitars in a music shop, based on sound alone, this was the one I chose. At 100 dollars I thought it was a steal. I had no idea the retail price was so low. It sounds better than the $400 Ibanez i played before this one. You’ll need a small tuner on the guitar at all times, as the strings don’t stay in tune very long, but in my experience every other classical guitar was the same way, so its probably just the strings, not the guitar?

It’s a nice guitar for start up .. having fun learning on it

When i had first delved into guitar i had been learning flamenco on a classical guitar. It was stolen from me and i was given a steel string acoustic as a gift from a friend. Although it was a great guitar and has fairly high value, it wasn’t what i had gotten used to or what made me fall in love with guitar. I had searched online and it was between this one and an 80$ one. After reading reviews i decided this guitar was the better way to go just because that extra 20 bucks seemed to offer a much better product. I am VERY pleased with this guitar, it sounds wonderful and was great right out of the box (after tuning of course) and the strings sound good enough that i still haven’t replaced them with the ones i had purchased separate. It’s a proper size an so easy to manipulate the fingers around. I definitely recommend this guitar to people starting to learn classical or flamenco guitar. Worth every penny
It’s now August 2024, and I’m still jamming on this guitar. I am definitely (finally) looking for an upgrade now that I’m in a better place financially, but even with it being cheap, it has held up wonderfully. I do want to clarify my previous review: it is not some perfect premium amazing guitar. But I got it for $109 in 2014, TEN YEARS LATER I still play this same guitar. That’s value you don’t find very often. The price is higher now, but this is still an excellent beginner guitar.

Awesome guitar. Great sound and quality.
A really good beginner guitar
Dan Davison –
I play guitar for personal recreation. I didn’t need a great guitar. I wanted a classical guitar because my fingers are large and a little clumsy. This is a beautiful guitar. I’ve never played a $1,000 guitar so I don’t know what a really good guitar might sound like. The action on the strings is good. It is easy to play. I wasn’t really pleased with the strings though. After about 3 weeks they still wouldn’t stay tuned. So I replaced them. The new strings sounded richer and worked fine. (they stay tuned better) The finish on this guitar is quite nice. the keys seem to be of good quality they are firm and don’t seem to slip at all. I could definitely recommend this as a good entry level guitar. It suits my needs just fine.
