I decided to purchase this grill through Amazon and assemble it myself. If you know how to turn a wrench and a screwdriver it’s not hard. The pieces are large and it was a little wonky putting it together by myself but I took my time and got it together. The instructions are very straightforward. Best to only open one bag of screws at a time depending on which step you’re on. I got the base and sidewalls together but needed my husbands help getting the top out of the box. It’s a little heavy and at the bottom of the box and it suctioned itself in. But once out and on top of the grill it was easy to assemble the rest. Overall it took me 2.5 to 3 hours. I really took my time to make sure I was doing it right. I grilled on it that evening. I love it and it’s the perfect size for just the two of us. You really don’t need a gigantic grill. Plenty of grilling surface and the grates clean up nice. I follow “Babs Everyone’s Grandma”on social media and she says to clean the grill with half an onion then to make it non- stick use a half of a potato rubbed all over. It has worked great for me so far. Happy Grilling!

The grill is well made and very sturdy. It heats quickly and I love the sear burner for cooking steak.

This is my 2nd E330 Weber Spirit grill. Bought previous one at local hardware store. Free assembly, free delivery and some amount of dollars of Weber grill accessories on a debit card which I never used up. Not sure how long the first one lasted. The flavorizer bars burned thru inside of 2 or 3 yrs, whatever the warranty is. They gave me some lip before replacing them for free. The sparker went out and they replaced that but I might have had to pay for it. This grill does everything I need it to do except smoke and I have a smoker for that. A side burner is a must for me and this grill has one. My old grill would barely light the other day and there was not much flame even when it was wide open on the valve. I gave in an ordered another one. Nobody stocks this one anymore. They want to order it or sell you a more expensive one. I knew I was in for a treat having to put this one together. It took me 2 hours and this is not my first rodeo in 60 yrs. A few of the nuts and bolts are almost impossible to get a tool on. Poor design. A cordless drill/screwdriver is handy and not listed as a necessary tool in the assembly instructions. They listed flat blade screwdriver, phillips, 7/16 socket, and two box wrench sizes. I never used the flat head or the wrenches. A little side cutter/wire cutter is very handy as are a pair of heavy duty scissors. You end up with a ton of cardboard and plastic bags. I will recycle all the cardboard. Amazon offers assembly for $75. I would not drive to your house and put this together for $75. So that is a deal depending on what your time is worth. The instructions are all pictures/drawings and to their credit, they are pretty good but not great. Keep trash, leaves, spiders, etc out of the gas valve connectors on grill and tank. I have had to replace 2 gas hose and valve assemblies on my smoker due either trash in the gas itself or trash that gets in the connectors and clogs up the works. May have been what put the last nail in the coffin on my old E330 but I was tired of buying and replacing parts. Also, buy a good grill cover and keep it covered up when not in use. Now if I would just take my own advice.

This grill is fantastic!! I decided to build it myself, and I’m glad I did. Doing it myself allowed me to be acquainted with the parts in a way I wouldn’t have otherwise if it had been pre-built. It wasn’t difficult, but a bit time consuming. As some said, you can lighten the load by cutting away packing material and opening the lid in the box. First, we cut off a side of the box and folded it down, so instead of having to lift up anything, we could just slide it out. Next, we took out various things packed in the grill box itself that lightened the load considerably. Then the main grill just slid out.

The directions are pictorial, but understandable. At various times, a second person can help, not so much for weight but for holding pieces in place while you screw something in. It wasn’t too difficult and the end result is very nice.

My first project was grilled peppers — piece o’ cake! The came out beautifully. The grill gets screaming hot very fast — that’s great. The peppers were done in record time. Next, I tried a filet mignon. Wow! Following Weber Chef Jack Ovens directions this was the best steak I’ve ever cooked in my life. I did use the Weber iGrill 2 thermometer connection and I’m glad I did…the filet was at 125 very quickly, much sooner than I would have thought. I pulled it off the grill and it was perfect! Did I say I love this grill?

The next project was chicken on a rotisserie, an accessory I also purchased. Works great! Grill heats evenly and heats up again quickly when the lid has been opened. The temperature gauge on the cover is great, front and center and is really useful. Cleaning is straight forward, and the “flavorizers” deflect grease to a catch pan – nicely done. This is the best grill I’ve every owned, and I recommend it highly.
