Whitmor 36 Pair Door Shoe Organizer

Color is white, no scratches. Quality is sturdy and the hooks are nice and thick not flimsy. I have quite a few pair of heels and some sneakers and love the organization. Easy to build. I actually read a previous comment from another buyer on an easier way to put it together. It was very helpful. I did have one bent part that the hook would not go on, I emailed the manufacture and I got the replacement part right away. I’d recommend saving the instructions, if u need a replacement part as it will ask for the part number. Easy to locate on the instructions. Great product, hope it lasts a long while.

This shoe rack is definitely the best bang for your buck! We have temporarily downsized and do not have as much room as before so we have been trying all sorts of organizational products, and this one was a hit. It fits so many pairs of shoes, it is built to last, and it is not bulky so there is still plenty of room in the closet even with this hanging.

Some assembly required but very easy. I could’ve easily assembled some of it too tightly/unevenly because it doesn’t rest flush on the door but that causes no issues at all. I purchased this for my boyfriend and it holds a lot of shoes (assuming he remembers to put them in the organizer 😝)

I was very excited to hang this up and free up closet floor space and declutter mine and my daughter’s expansive shoe collections. Although my initial thought was that they went together easily and were pretty sturdy, once I put them up and hung them they started sagging. The over the door clips are very weak and need to be screwed into the door, but you need to use the lower hole and not tighten to allow movement. The top part of the clip is to wide and does not allow the door to shut unless it is left loose. The rest of the rack works great if they can fix the top clip part. Thankfully my husband is handy and he is going to fabricate clips to replace the ones that came with the product.

Shoes are not stable when kept unless its either small size or may be women size….The either you have lay it across the rack . Altogether felt not worth the prize.

Quality of the make also felt cheap

This shoe rack is one of the best things I’ve ever bought. Before, all of our shoes were either stuffed in an old, cloth organizer or piled on the floor; now, they’re all neatly displayed and easier to keep clean, since they’re not laying on top of each other in the closet.

There are only 2 downsides for us:
(1) it definitely doesn’t hold 36 pairs of shoes. My husband wears a size men’s 9, and I wear women’s 8-ish, and I can really only fit about 4 shoes on each shelf, for a total of 24 pairs. It manages to hold all of our shoes, but I was hoping to be able to store our daughter’s shoes here as well. No big deal, though; it’s still a massive improvement compared to how they were being stored before.
(2) the height between the shelves is too low for a lot of my shoes, so I’m having to turning them sideways and/or lay them flat. I’m not sure that any shoe rack is really designed for wedges and boots with a heel, though, and at least they somewhat fit on this rack. I’ve never been able to find another over-the-door organizer that can hold bigger shoes like this one can.

Other than that, we love it! It was really easy to put together, and it’s incredibly sturdy. Even the mesh seems like a good quality that should last a long while. The bars that go over the door are thin enough that we haven’t had any issues closing the door. 10/10 would recommend, and I’m planning on buying a second one to go over our daughter’s door for all of her shoes!
