DRILL BIT AND GUIDE ARE VERY LOOSE FITTING.

This tool snaped inside the crankshaft, had to spend more money just to get the pice out of the crankshaft

Don’t expect the drill bit to be any good, it burned up with the first 45 seconds, even with oil and slow speed, the tool itself doesn’t fit very snug on the crank snout so you have hold it with your other hand.

Loose fit on the crank, loose fit on the bit. Due to the loose fit of both, the hole ended up slightly too large. Would be better it the guide was steel instead of aluminum. Even better with a couple set screws and a slight chamfer to it so it centers better.

I had an engine with a broken crankshaft bolt. It did the job and I was able the drill thru the bolt and tap new threads, the only problem encountered was the drill bit is slightly undersized and it gives you a little wobble. Had to get a bigger bit that fitted snug in the drill jig. But overall it worked good.
