  1. Time is an illusion

It’s beautiful and hypnotic. It’s extremely well crafted. The wooden box is part of its allure. Digital metronomes take away the art and mystique of mechanical metronomes. And large pyramid metronomes take away the portability. I couldn’t imagine having any other metronome.

Very good quality metronome, I love the traditional mechanical tick of these authentic devices. Nothing to dislike at all here. The lid shuts with a good solid clunk too.

    Elegant.
Loud for such a little thing.

surprisingly it is a cute a well-made metronome. I wish it was bigger for louder beats.

It is a little bit hard to adjust it but that’s fine

I love the size snd the wooden housing. Very attractive dedign and good for travel. Probably not for a virtuoso who may need to dial in a beat to the millisecond, but for a learner like me, it’s great. Also audible to my instructor via facetime, but doesn’t disturb the whole house (my playing does that already). It will last a long time, so if you want something long lasting, mechanical, aesthetic, and compact for travel, this is it.

Good metronome. However the winding won’t last for a long time before starts going uneven. Maybe 5 min?

Wow. Exactly what I was looking for. Company even has a reputation that carries weight. All musicians into writing/composing at one point or another will encounter a metronome. Since I play/travel frequently with a well known band who wishes to remain anonymous, tee-hee-hee 🙂 , I have to say that this metronome is my go to when traveling. On the tour bus no more big bulky pyramid metronome to worry about.
One downside, but understandable once you see the size (about a little smaller than the length of your average hand from the tip of the middle finger to the bottom of the palm, give or take) is you have to rewind it more frequently vs the std pyramid metronome. And mos def easy to take when flying intl.
