*update: I’ve ordered a second one. It’s on its way now and I’m very excited about setting it up. I love this cage so do my birds. How easy it was to put together. How they use tension to come together with great hardware provided. Make sure you use tools to tighten the screws or your wheels will wobble right off in motion. Whoops!
The shelf underneath is nice and sits solid. The top opening is lovely. The large perches and the ease of sliding the tray out. However CAUTION BUDGIE OWNERS: possible escape risks
you will need to clip top and bottom of front door to not allow escape. As one of mine slipped out the front. Seems my budgies are happy in this house and don’t feel the need to escape now. So I don’t even clip it anymore.
If you do not have the top roof clasped locked my budgie had his head popped out the top. Lol. With the clip engaged it seems fine. If this cage has two clips placed at top and bottom of the front door it would make it a more secure unit for the smaller of the parrots. Other than that it is a fairly sturdy and lovely design. The legs are solid and beautifully shaped and it’s what I loved about the cage is how pretty the design is in my home. A lovely unit to have and reasonable cost. Compared to other cages.
A worthwhile purchase and one of my Amazon top five favourite purchases. I did slide a remnant material under the cage clipped upwards around the bottom like a skirt to catch throw off. if you don’t you will have bird seed everywhere as it rolls right out the cage sides. So there is a couple tweaks that could help with the function not perfect but so close.
Oh yeah the size of the food cups are huge for a budgie so water is like a bath tub and they jump into the food and throw it about cause they can literally roll and bathe in the food cup lol. So just things to know I underestimated the size in the ad. This would be a great enclosure for birds to room in. I’m happy enough to have ordered two and look forward to the symmetry it will provide to the look of my space as well as how happy my birds are with all the room they have now to play and have many toys.

Love the design. Spacious and easy to put together. It’ll be easy to move around the house with the wheels. The only drawback is the tray is tight and difficult to get in and out. But overall love this cage!

This cage is great in more than one way. There are cages that are larger, but cost a lot more. This cage is priced well. There are cages that are cheaper, but they don’t come with a stand. This one does. This cage is really easy to clean as it has no plastic base. The size fits in a bathtub, fully assembled. In summary, this is a well-priced cage with a stand that is easy to clean.
* The one negative is the door. If birds are motivated enough, they could put their head through and then get their head stuck. However, this is a very easy fix. You can use plastic clothespins to secure the door to the bars better, which we did on one of ours, or you can tie the door closed with leather straps, which we did on our other one, as we own two of these cages.

This cage was very well made, and heavy, but once the wheels were in the bottom, a breeze to move around. I moved my two budgie parakeets from a smaller cage, and they immediately took to this one, loving the height and roominess. Lots of room for toys and treats. The food bowls and perches were for larger birds so we did replace those with ones more suitable for smaller birds. Easy to do with dowels from the hardware store, and just using their previous food bowls. We didn’t open the top part, instead used it to hang a swing and toys from, but is a a nice feature to have.

A little flimsy feeling until you get it together, then it is sturdy.
The cage is a good size and plenty strong for a couple of parakeets. The perches are good for a medium sized parrot, and the bowls are good for a macaw. We got a laugh out of it.
I added smaller perches and put smaller dishes that will connect firmly to the dish doors and I have the perfect setup for a small parrot. Too small and not strong enough for a large parrot and it could eventually break out of this cage.
Overall great for an inexpensive cage.

This is an outstanding cage. If you are new to birds, let me tell you why. It’s square so the bird can stretch its wings in all directions without restriction. Most cages are wider than they are deep so the bird can only stretch its wings in one direction but not with this. The shape makes it roomier. The stand is very nice and allows you to store things below. The cage is very sturdy, was super easy to put together. Even comes with it’s own tool to tighten the screws. I love love the food dishes, have their own swinging doors, so you can access them from the side rather than reaching in. However, in my case, the dishes are ginormous and too deep for my cockatiel. She eats only a few tablespoons of food at a time. The dishes are very deep. However, for larger birds, they would be excellent. Stainless steel is safer than plastic so was a plus. Most cages come with toxic cheap plastic ones. In every way, this cage is outstanding in price, quality, size, and build. My girl flew around in it, jumping about from perch to perch. I don’t ever use the standard dowel perch, as they cause feet problems, but replace them with branch perches. Most birds don’t stay in their cage 24/7 but when you have to keep them in, there is room. It is a good size for 1 large bird or 2 cockatiels could manage though I err on the side of big is better for 2 birds. Like me, if your bird doesn’t live in a cage 24/7 and is out most of the day this is perfect. Thank you to the makers of this cage!!

ordered this for a friend. it stated is suitable for finches and parakeets. the cup feeders are bigger, suitable for a large bird. the rod perches are thicker, also suitable for large birds. at first opening of the box it looked like a piece was bent, not really. but when i told them i would just like to return, they avoided my request. so looking for a bird sanctuary to take it, out the 92 dollars from my pocket.

The bird that will be living in this cage has just finished weening and will be coming home shortly!
Currently this cage is unoccupied and showing some concerning traits though. Some pieces of the cage seem to come loose or at least don’t stay where they need to, namely the top.
While I understand the top opens and all that, the actual top section of the cage pops out of place. When that happens the cage becomes very unsturdy and looks like it will fall apart. Because of this I will be getting my bird a different cage that is better built, by the same company.
I got the different cage for my GCC, so my Sun will also have that cage. This one will be kept as an extra or something. Will need to ziptie it together though to feel comfortable putting my bird in it. If it hadn’t been so long since buying it I would probably inquire about returning it, but it’s been weeks so I won’t bother. 🤦♀️
Nonetheless it is a very pretty cage, great size for a night cage for a Conure or smaller bird, and my birds breeder uses one for some of her birds. I don’t know if we got a lemon or what. 🤷♀️

This cage will make a wonderful night cage for my conures who come home soon. It is large enough to give them room to play and move around, but not so large that it takes up alot of space. We will be buying a second to accommodate both of our birds.

My daughter has 2 parakeets and his cage is more than enough room for them and multiple toys. The food and water bowls are large so we don’t have to worry about them running out of either. The drawer at the bottom makes it easy to clean. The only reason I gave it a 3 on sturdiness is because the base isn’t as sturdy as I thought it would be. Over all I would buy this cage again, and compaired to other cages the price is very reasonable.

I wasn’t sure how this birdcage would work as we wanted to move our daughters bird downstairs during the day when she is at school or out with friends. It has become his permanent residence and he loves it and we loves it. It is perfect and it’s beautiful and pretty sturdy.
