First off I ordered this because we needed a space saver. Looked like a great idea and had great reviews. I have three budgies. Two babies I got for Mothers Day and 1 older one I had for years the mate past away in winter and I was heart broken so my kids surprised me with two new ones. I tried to put all three together but the older one was pecking the two babies almost to death so we needed new cages. I bought these because it gave them more room they can fly and it was space saving. Well I had no idea they would come in two separate orders. The first box came with one cage and I needed the two I ordered so I tried to get in touch but no response. So I ordered another single cage for an addition $74. I was desperate. Low and behold the second cage to the original order showed up three days later. Still have not received the extra cage I ordered. Will return when I do get it. Cages did not adhere to each other and the one just sits on the top of the bottom one. Not to stable. We also have a cat and two dogs to run around and bump into legs of cart a lot and at one point found top cage teetering on edge of bottom cage. So we had to secure the cages together with zip ties to keep them from moving. Next the cage only has access from the front and being its so big if you open the door to put in a toy or add a swing or what ever the birds fly out. To use the little door I can barely get my hand in to place a treat in there for the birds. Advice have cage totally prepared and ready with all decor and what ever you want to have in it before you put birds in. My birds love their mirror from their old cage and I still cannot get it in there. I have two corner shelves they also love and still cant get them in. Otherwise my birds love the space and chirp all day non stop. They are very happy in both cages. Just be aware of what you will need to do to keep the cages secure and safely adhered to each other. Otherwise the top cage will slide off.

The cages are very heavy and the frame the cages fit into is not made correctly as the cage fell thru the frame.. The cages are too short on each outer edges to support the cage weight. There were two pieces that were to support the cage and they were made much to flimsy, as 1 side broke off.
This could have been very bad if I had not been there to catch the cage from falling thru as my 4 birds would have been injured or set free.

This birdcage is unbelievably flimsy.
The sides are flimsy, as are the top, bottom, wheels and trays.
The metal wires used in the cage’s construction are brittle,
one broke as I was bending it as per the assembly instructions.
I would have returned it but I didn’t want the hassle of disassembling it
and trying to fit it back in the boxes and dealing with the vendor.

I’ll try to sum this up. I ordered the double cage. Assembly was not too bad but that’s because I’ve built these cages before. If you’re new to this stuff it will be frustrating. The size of the cage is good for two birds. However I reinforce the cages with zip ties. But the stand is not OK. I was shocked that the cage literally rests with two plastic clips to hold it in place that’s it. That is not OK with me. I was not comfortable with stacking them either. After all this work it seems fruitless to try and ask for returning it so I’m modifying my set up here for now. This is going to be like a temporary situation for my little feathered friends until I can get a indoor aviary. Maybe I didn’t understand originally. But the cages are stacked on top of each other. There’s no shelf there’s no brace there is no secure setting to be sure that they are stable. I’m like you and when I purchase things. I always read reviews. It helps me to understand and make decisions. That’s why I’m sharing this with you. I mean no disrespect to the manufacture. But I’m not an engineer and I could not figure this thing out that it felt like a good situation. Take care of yourself and the little ones in your care. Wishing you the best always.

Yes they are good cages and a great concept. However, you will need zip ties to hold the stackable cages together. You’ll also need them to hold cage to stand. Id never trust the cages without zips.
They are roomy cages. Great for my diamond doves. I’m satisfied.

It is advertised as a double stack. First they sent me the wrong item. Then it took another week to get the correct top cage. Then there were no instructions om how to attach the top cage to the bottom one. It does not just sit on there as and movement causes it to slide off. I ordered this on August 5th and almost 20 days later I’m still trying to finalize the set up.
