YhuiCxir Travel Bottles, TSA-Approved Leakproof Containers

This is such a wonderful, well thought out, comprehensive set of travel containers, I do highly recommend it. The silicone bottles are large (3oz, the maximum size for TSA compliance) and easy to fill and use. The little pots for face cream, etc, come with their own spatulas so you don’t have to stick your finger into your products. There are two spray bottles (I’ve put rubbing alcohol into one of mine for dry cleaning on the fly!), a funnel to help you fill the bottles, a bottle cleaning brush, a generous supply of labels to put on your containers and a see through zippy bag to keep it all in! Really it’s everything you need to pack to fly with your toiletries in your carry on. It’s the best set of this kind that I’ve tried!

This was perfect for a week away. Almost. The jars are small, and maybe only useful for my eye cream. The set comes with spatulas and a funnel to help put your products in with less spillage. The squeeze lids have a little rubber cover, with a x slit, to help keep the products from leaking out. I didn’t have issues with mine leaking, BUT every that I had put in those bottles was a very thick consistency, so I would’ve been shocked if any had leaked. I like that the bottles are soft and squeezable silicone. It makes it much easier to get the last bits out. The case is clear so you can easily see the contents. I know this makes a difference I. Air travel, but since I haven’t used this for air travel, I’m not even sure if these are the correct sized bottles for it. It was a good set for me for a week away though. I could also see me taking it camping.

I bought these for my hospital bag and they’re perfect. I’ve had them packed for about 2 weeks and no spilling or leaking. Definitely will use on future travels as well 🙂

The labels it comes with are really handy as well. Worth it.

This travel set, which is TSA approved, is, as the expression goes, small but mighty. The silicone travel bottles of which there are four in different colours (yellow, green, blue, orange) are bullet shaped and hold about 3 ounces each. There are four small round containers suitable for lip balm, Vaseline, face cream. I was surprised and pleased to see that two small spatulas in different colours are included. These are great to use for filling the small round containers or for removing product from said containers. There is a funnel, two spray bottles, a sheet of preprinted labels and a small bottle cleaner. It really is the “whole package”. Everything fits nicely in a clear zippered bag/pouch.

The bullet bottles are easy to fill and being silicone are easy to squeeze to obtain product from them. They have a special silicone sealed top with an “X” across it to prevent leaks and spills. The bottles really are leakproof. I filled them with shampoo, conditioner, hand cream and water. I then shook each one while holding it lid side down. Nothing leaked, nothing dribbled. I was very happy. I’ll be using the kit weekly when I visit my friend’s home. I won’t need to carry big bottles of anything with me as this little travel kit will hold everything I need and fit compactly in my weekender bag or backpack.

I’ll even be able to carry some light scented spray with me instead of carrying perfume and it will be easy to fill and refill the bottles using the funnel provided with the set.

If you travel or stay at friend’s or relatives’ homes, this travel set will do an excellent job of keeping your toiletries tidy and ready to go.

With the summer vacation travel season just around the corner, this travel bottle set is the ideal accessory to bring along all your toiletries. This is a well-supplied set with a generous number of bottles and containers in the set: 4 large (90 mL, 3 oz.) squeeze bottles, 4 small plastic jars (10 mL, 0.35 oz.) and two spray bottles (30 mL, 1 oz.). In addition, there are two small plastic spatulas and a small funnel provided to help with transferring the contents into the containers, and a small cleaning brush for cleaning out the containers.
The squeeze bottles are made of soft silicone, and are available in two color themes: a bright pastel color motif, or a more sombre grey-black motif. Their capacity falls under the 100 mL volume limit for airline carry-on luggage. With the screw-on cap removed, the bottles have a large opening (2.3 cm, 7/8 inch) to allow easy filling with liquids or gels (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc.). The cap is designed to be leak-proof: there is the outer flip-open snap cap, and underneath is another silicone flap with an X-slit opening. This inner seal prevents anything from leaking out and the bottle must be squeezed to force the contents out through the slits, which also helps control the amount that is dispensed to avoid wastage. I checked for sealing efficiency using just water and the inner seal was able to prevent any water from leaking out until I squeezed the bottle, so I have full confidence that thicker liquids like shampoo and conditioner will not leak out.
The small jars are made of a rigid clear plastic (PET?) and plastic lids. I found the lids to be a bit difficult to screw on or off because, first it was difficult to get a good grip due to the small size and the slipperiness of the jar and the lid, and secondly the lid tends to bind if you squeeze to get a good grip. Also, the seal feels less secure but the contents that would go into these jars would typically be toiletries with thicker consistency like creams so they would be less likely to leak.
The clear plastic case this travel set was shipped in also serves as the toiletries bag to bring along all your liquids/gels on your travels. It’s supposed to meet TSA (USA) and CATSA (Can) requirements for airline carry-on luggage.
In summary, this is a well-designed and recommended travel toiletries set. It has all the bottles and containers than one could need. To be honest, for myself, I will probably use the squeeze bottles more than the other containers.

I have not actually used these yet but I have looked them over and they are really good quality. I can’t wait to use them on my next trip! I like them so much that I plan to purchase the neutral color package for my husband.
