I had this case for couple days and would like to share my exp. First of all, it’s beautiful design. The color and the material looks like carbon fiber, but its not the real product. for fitting violin is too tight, viola is about right size because the adjustable parts. Secondly, about the using the case, no room for a standard rosin. the top is wabbling and not hold tight enough. Bow holder has weird angle and sometimes damaged bow hair.
The case is heavy!! more than a wood one! When I received the product, it looks not a brand new, but returned. I opened the case and see many scratches inside an outside even it has a plastic cover. I have no way to contact the seller and wanna figure if it sent by mistake.

While material this case is made from is theoretically very strong, it lacks ant structural rigidity. It will not protect your instruments from any serious impacts or crushing forces. The interior finish out is super cheap. Even at the relatively inexpensive price it is not worth it. Very disappointing as there are very few double cases that will take a viola over 16.5 inches. I spent 5 minutes looking it over and packed it back up returned it

Happy about it! Hygrometer fell off but fixable. Love the color that I got and it’s so roomy inside. It can fit full violin, 15 inches viola and it can go all the way til 16 inch. There’s a compartment for 2 rosins, 4 bows. Love it!

It is hard to find a double case that accommodates my violin and my Tertis model viola, but this one does. I had to add some extra foam pieces to the case to prevent the instruments from hitting the sides. My shoulder rests fit, but there is no place for extra strings, so I had to make one over the hygrometer spot. It is also inconvenient that there is no compartment for music (zipper pouch on the outside of the case, or something like that) so I’ll have to come up with a solution for that next.
So, there are some problems with this case, but it may end up being worth it if it holds up. I am tired of replacing cases every 3 years, so I’m hoping this one lasts longer.

The first indication of trouble was the “Fragile” sticker on the box. The plan was for this case to protect my violins! If the case is fragile, how can it provide protection?
It was listed as a “double violin case viola case”, and had one recess correct for a 4/4/ violin and the other for a viola. A violin placed in the viola opening would rattle around and damage the instrument. Again, the case is to protect the instruments.
Rather than the typical Velcro strap to secure the instrument, this case has laces.
My expectation was that a carbon fiber case would be strong and secure. This case is neither. The lid was wobbly and the “adjustable” parts were unstable. If you want a box to carry a $100 violin and a $100 viola, this one’s for you. I certainly wouldn’t trust an instrument(s) of any value in this case.
On the upside, the fit and finish were fine, I really liked the handle and hygrometer.
Simply, it just didn’t perform it’s intended purpose, and was returned.

Biggest detractors to an otherwise great find are:
-draw strings to tie down instruments broke the first or second time trying to use them. The faux leather material seems too weak (maybe straight up plastic or actual thread might be better? or maybe even a velcro option!)
-the inner hardware (shaped cloth over cardboard with small compartments for accessories are not reinforced all the way to the bottom of the case. So things in the compartments slip out from under (causing only minimal damage to instruments if moved around too much)
