Equipped with advanced smart charging technology, the Yintar Surge Protector features two USB A ports and one USB C port. Each USB A port offers a maximum output of 2.4A, while the USB C port provides up to 3A. Together, the three USB ports deliver a total output of 5V/3.0A/15W, making them capable of charging almost any USB device, from smartphones and tablets to Amazon Kindles and portable speakers.
Advanced Surge Protection
Safety is a paramount concern when it comes to electrical devices, and the Yintar Surge Protector excels in this regard. It offers 1680 Joules of surge protection, safeguarding your valuable electronics from electrical spikes. The device employs three complementary surge protection circuitsโTVS (transient voltage clamp), MOV (metal oxide varistor), and GDT (gas discharge tube)โensuring a response time of less than 1 nanosecond. This advanced protection mechanism provides a level of security far superior to single MOV surge protectors.
Flexible and User-Friendly Design
With a 6-foot extension cord, the Yintar Surge Protector offers the flexibility you need to position it wherever it’s most convenient. The flat plug design ensures that it can fit into tight spaces, making it ideal for use behind furniture or in crowded office setups. I use this mainly for my gaming laptop, laptop cooler and external 32″ 4K display. I wanted a sturdy bar which can protect my rather pricey setup from power spikes and overload. The 6′ chord is perfect as I can plug it in the wall outlet close to the floor and yet have the bar itself sitting comfortably on top of the table. The quick-charging USB ports are an awesome feature! USB chargers these days are needed on a daily basis and are the only way to power a number of electronic devices, these ports come in very handy.
$18 for a power bar is on the costly side of things. But it’s worth every penny: it has a long chord, a sturdy design that’s nevertheless easy on the eyes, plenty of outlets disposed so that you can use each adjacent outlet simultaneously unlike cheaper bars, and it has fast-charging USB ports. Well-worth the price, I just never thought I would spend $18 on a power bar. However, if you really want to protect your pricey electronics, you need a surge protector.

I bought 2 of these surge protectors to replace ones I had for years. They work perfectly! They charge my phone much faster than directly in an outlet too. Now I feel like my electronics are safe from grid instability. Highly recommend!

Charging has always worked great, love the flame plug, fits behind my furniture nicely. Did have one of the outlets burn out on one of the extension cords I bought (I purchased two) but other than that, it’s worked great!

The 6Ft Power Strip Surge Protector by Yintar offers convenient power access with its six AC outlets and three USB ports. Its compact design and long extension cord make it versatile for various setups. The surge protection feature adds peace of mind against voltage spikes. However, some users may find the spacing between outlets slightly tight, limiting the use of larger plugs. Overall, Yintar delivers a reliable and efficient power solution, earning it a solid four-star rating.

These power strips are great for any room in the house – especially extra bedrooms. Provides both the standard plugs and usb charging ports. Great for any office as well. Cord is a good length. The “lay flat” plug is also a bonus.

I absolutely love this, extension cord, I am able to use it to plug, in and all, of the, stuff that I had plugged into, with my old extension cord, as well and it works better than my old extension cord, that I had, for many years and plus this one also, has USB C plugs for the phone, the tablet, and also my 2 headphones that I have one’s for my mom and the other headphone it’s also a Bluetooth, that one is mine I did have a 3rd headphone but I gave it to a friend for her to able to use, also got a new home stereo home system and you can also have or use it with anything that has to do with a Bluetooth its nice to got it at Target it took a good 10-14 days i believe, still very much worth it, still do have my old stereo home system as well, and it is a Nakamichi mom got one for me, my brother and herself when we were teens, I do believe it had been, when we were so me 14 & my brother 15 years old & also my mom got one as well, I just need one part for it is all, then we will have 2 Stereos one for me listening to my music and then use the Nakamichi music stereo/CD player also as well as having a Radio on it, it’s awesome because it still works and it is in great condition I take care of stuff like that, I was 14 years old too when I got it, I am now 38 years old, but we will use it still in the family room will be nice to have it in there hang it on the wall, that’s going to be great to be able to use it again yay. I was hoping for a beefier sort of powerbar, not this light plastic stuff. But so far it’s working fine. And it’s laid out better than the last powerbar I was using. The USB connectors are in a row, instead of a column, which I prefer. But the main reason I got it, was that I needed more AC outlets, and more spaced apart.

I purchased this specific power bar for the following reasons:
– To charge an iPad directly with the included USB ports (this worked well as it outputs 5V at 3A)
– Long cord length – 6 ft (also comes with a velcro tie wrap which is handy to keep the cord neat)
– 45 degree plug so the cord does not block the outlet below
– Indicated it had full electrical safety certification
It was surprisingly difficult to find a power bar on Amazon that was confirmed to have proper Electrical safety Certification such as CSA, UL, or ETL. This power bar was one of the few that did.
On the main body of the power bar shows the ETL Intertek symbol. When I went to the Intertek website, I was able to search for this part number (PW-919) and was able to confirm the manufacturer (Yintar) had this power bar properly tested and certified according to the UL-1363 standard for relocatable power taps.
Other symbols on the body of this power bar include a House symbol (indicates this is for indoor use only – e.g. don’t get this wet), FCC mark (a voluntary mark for devices sold in the US market indicating electromagnetic radiation from this device is below the limits specified by the Federal Communications Commission), and the WEEE symbol (looks like a wheeled bin that is crossed out – this symbol is required in Europe and relates to the disposal/recycling of electrical products).
Devices with proper certification would have these symbols on the main body of the device. Some power bars have CSA, UL, or ETL symbols, but they are on the cable or the plug itself. This may mean individual components such as the cable or plug are certified, but does not mean the entire power bar is. The small C and US beside the symbol denotes certification in Canada and the US.
What are CSA, UL, or ETL?
These are independent laboratories that test products according to international standards. The symbol denotes which lab tested the product. They are essentially equivalent because they are testing to the same standards. CSA (Canadian Standards Association) is from Canada, UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is from the USA, and ETL (Electrical Testing Laboratories) is from the UK.

I needed a new power strip, took a chance and bought this one. I will say I am satisfied. It has 1 USBC, 2 USB and 6 outlets. It doesnโt have that bright red light which is great if you donโt want to see that at night. I donโt!

This strip is supposed to do one thing: Supply power reliably
And it does!
The USB ports are an added bonus. I recommend mounting one of these under a desk to have power on hand when you need it.
Don’t expect this thing to take too much abuse though, it’s made in China and will probably break if it’s mistreated hard, if you need something that is guaranteed to take a beating and not malfunction then look for commercial grade power strips.
