Tried a couple of more expensive models, $47!
This model costs less, $29, yet without fuss does the job well. Arrives with an arrestor in the base, the product out of the box is immaculate, not a smudge nor scratch anywhere; and very handsome with it.
Has a nice sound, not too loud nor too soft, just right for my acoustic instruments. The bar dividing bell is spot on! No failure to ring on each set up, 2,3,4, etc.
Very happy with this purchase.

Very ingenious metronome. Made out of plastic, but it works very well. Pyramid shape, wind up, easy to adjust beats per minute. It’s louder than I thought it would be. Perhaps would work great in a home, garage, or music studio. I would think twice about using this early in the morning or late at night in an apartment or condo, as it is a little bit on the loud side. Other than that though, very pleased with my purchase.

The only drawback is that the numbers are small and the mechanism requires a fine touch to get it to the right number. It kept exact time with my computer metronome. I like it because it is simple; I don’t have to have some app for it.

It’s great.

Seems well made. Works well. Fairly substantial for the price. Would recommend as an economical albeit fairly well made metronome. Makes a nice gift to go along with go with any musical instrument.

The electronic metronome that I had wasn’t loud enough. I couldn’t hear it over the piano. This mechanical metronome replacement was the answer. I could hear it loud and clear over the piano.
It’s very easy to use and includes a protective plastic front cover. You simply wind the spring mechanism and swing out the pendulum arm.
The pendulum weight slides easily up and down the pendulum arm when setting the tempo. It even has a beat selector that easily pull in and out.
I’m glad I picked it up, because it’s instrumental in helping improve my timing and rhythm.

I have a digital one that just beeps and it’s so annoying and for some reason I can’t follow along with it the way it beeps so I wanted an old fashioned one, the kind I grew up using. This one works great so far. Easy to use. I posted a video of how to get it to work and of the 3 different settings. One just clicks and the other two have a bell sound with it.

This is a sleek and shiny metronome. It’s incredibly easy to use. The instructions are very simplistic, it took no time at all for me to get it ticking. The chromatic pendulum swings in perfect rhythm as long as you slide the weight to the proper tempo. There’s a beat selector too, which I choose not to use, but it is also intuitively designed and dings loudly. I would suggest keeping this metronome at a distance when in use. Recommended.
