I wanted a pressure cooker to can in. The cooker looked good but I decided to buy one that had a gage to tell your pressure. I sent it back and ordered a different one. I never cooked in it.

I use this product a total of 3 to 4 times. Each time it did not pressurize appropriately. I think it was defected, but because I’ve had it for so long I can’t return it. Nothing cooked correctly or was tenderized enough. I cooked things for at least 45 minutes. With other pressure cookers I have all I need to let it go is 20 minutes and it cooks beautifully. 45 minutes to an hour. Did not even do the job with this one.

I use this pressure cooker at least once a week. It works perfectly. Easy to open and close. Safe to operate. Cooks things well. Very large. The bottom goes into the dish washer, but the top needs to be hand-washed–but that’s really a small drawback to keep the device operating correctly for years to come.

This was a good size for me. This is a good size to do a pot roast in. I have only used it once for vegetables but it was wonderful compared to a pressure cooker that was about 25 years old. This uses less water to cook with and everything is built into the handle. The pressure release is easy to use, just make sure the release valve is pointing away from you so as not to get burned. This one is rated for induction tops which I have. Very easy to clean after use. The quality of the Zavor is quite good as well. Completely satisfied with this purchase.

It’s a good pressure cooker- but my previous cooker monitored the steam coming from the gasket on the lid much better.
