I got this violin to add to the ever growing collection of instruments I keep around the house, to encourage everyone to experiment, and hopefully find something they want to learn. Everyone was excited about this one- even more than last years glockenspiel. It was a bit of a hassle to get it up and running, but the instruction booklet was very helpful.
It quite pretty and lightweight. My daughter tuned it, somewhat, as she has experience with other stringed instruments.
How does it sound? Mostly like a very distressed cat, but we have been able to produce a few nice, violin-like sounds from playing around with it. All in all, it’s a fairly good beginner violin, with everything you need to get started, including extra strings, tuning gadget, padded case, chin and shoulder rests, bow, rosin. Great value!

Definitely a starter violin. Comes with plenty of extras and came well packaged in a nice case. The violin looks nice and clean. The sound quality overall isn’t bad and it’s pretty easy to tune. I found the bridge to be on the cheaper side and pretty soft but they also included an extra one. You may want to find a better built bridge to go along with this one. The price is ok but I can see this being cheaper in comparison to some store bought products.

Eh I wanted to experiment with some new instruments so I picked this up since it was cheap, but the quality is just substantially missing. It’s almost impossible to play because the bridge won’t stay firm.

I recently bought the ZEFF 4/4 Full Acoustic Violin, and I’m thrilled with its performance and quality! This violin has exceeded my expectations in every way. Here’s why it’s deserving of a five-star review:
Pros:
Comprehensive Starter Kit: This violin comes with everything you need to get started: the violin itself, a bow, a case, a tuner, a bridge, and extra strings. It’s a fantastic all-in-one package for beginners of any age.
High-Quality Build: The maple wood construction gives the violin a beautiful, rich sound. The craftsmanship is impressive for the price, and it feels durable and well-made.
Great Sound Quality: For a starter violin, the sound quality is excellent. It produces a clear, resonant tone that is sure to inspire and motivate new players.
Easy to Set Up: The violin is easy to assemble and tune. The included tuner is a handy tool for ensuring the strings are properly tuned, making the learning process smoother.
Comfortable and Playable: The size and weight are perfect for both kids and adults. It’s comfortable to hold and play, which is essential for practice sessions and developing technique.
Cons:
String Quality: The included strings are good for beginners, but upgrading to higher-quality strings might be beneficial as you progress. However, this is a minor point and not a deal-breaker.
Overall: The ZEFF Violin is an excellent choice for anyone starting out with the violin, whether you’re a child, a beginner, or an adult returning to the instrument. The quality, ease of use, and comprehensive accessory kit make it a standout option. If you’re looking for a reliable and affordable violin to begin your musical journey, this one is highly recommended!

It feels much better quality than the plastic toy instruments and has a decent weight to it. The sound quality is pretty decent considering the price point and it was relatively easy to tune. Comes with great starter essentials and it’s been fun to see the kiddos get excited using it.

This is a good option for a beginner interested in getting into Violin. This model is more or less identical to the one my 3rd grader was learning on at school. The bow and Violin are definitely good enough to learn on but it does have some quirks. The tuning pegs lose their tune after a while because they’re just a cheap plastic pulling tension against wood holes. The tuner that came with my violin didn’t work at all; luckily I had my guitar tuner and figured out how to adapt it for this.

I recently purchased this violin for my child, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the decision! As a first-time parent of a budding musician, I wanted to ensure I got an instrument that was both high-quality and perfect for beginners, and this violin exceeded my expectations.
First off, the violin’s construction is impressive. It has a beautiful finish. The setup was incredibly easy, and it came with all the necessary accessories, including a bow, rosin, and a sturdy case. The lightweight design makes it comfortable for my child to handle, and the sound quality is fantastic for a beginner instrument.
Overall, I highly recommend this violin to anyone looking for a quality instrument for their child. It has sparked a passion for music in my child, and I can’t wait to see how they grow as a player. This is definitely a five-star product!

I have some experience with violins. I inherited a not valuable violin in 1968, and I bought one for my son about 10 years ago. I play the fiddle a little, but I am no violinist. When I found this violin I decided to give it a try and see if I could learn to play any better.
I’m glad I did! The violin is outright beautiful. It comes in a very nice case, well protected. You get everything you’re going to need for starting up with the violin. There’s a spare set of strings, the bow, two blocks of rosin for the bow, a chin rest AND a shoulder rest, two bridges and a tuner! Also a nice instruction booklet to get you on the right track.
I chose the flame maple finished version of the violin. It is flawless, and it is beautiful. It is my hope I can learn how to play without running people off! And if not? I can gift it to some young learner in a few years who will maybe learn to make beautiful music!
